A highly rated but rare Hughes & Kettner 100 watt guitar combo. A few little scuffs but nothing superficial. classic H&K brushed aluminum and black vinyl, with a business-like front panel revealing four independent channels plus a good range of plugging options on the back-plate. The Clean channel gets stand-alone volume, bass, mid and treble controls, while the Crunch, Lead and Warp channels must all share one set of bass, mid and treble EQ controls. This is forgivable in the context of the amp remaining simple and affordable. The Crunch channel has gain and volume controls, while the Lead and Warp channels share a single gain control but get separate volumes. On the far right is a Master Volume which, when nudged around in a clockwise manner, reveals a very grunt'y little unit. The faceplate says 100 watts, but unscrewing the back panel of the closed cabinet revealed a single 12" Celestion Rock Driver Ultra rated at 100 watts, so that output rating sounds a little ambitious in RMS terms. The backplate features jack sockets for an extra 8 ohm speaker, headphones, a line out, a CD/Line input for jamming to your fave CDs, FX return and send, plus an on/off switch for the FX foot switch and foot switch socket.
