This is my huge dark wood blanket box. It is all wood as was my mums for over 50 years. No cheap IKEA mdf, all wood and very heavy. Could make a lovely window seat with a padded cushion on. Plenty of storage. It has a slight mark on top but comes up to almost nothing if you rub in some colour wax to polish. Antique solid wood blanket box

We have a blanket box that we no longer need. Was in our spare room and used for storing towels. Very nice size, the design on the front is ornate without being over the top. Purchased from an auction house several years ago and will last a lot longer than the chipboard furniture being sold these days! Dimensions: H:101cm D:49cm H: 47cm Condition is generally good, given its age. The wood has lost some of its stain in places, mostly here and there on the lid (see photos). These aren't really an major gouges, just scuffs from age and use. The legs are in surprisingly good condition and don't have any major dings or dents on them.
