Established breeding colony (5+ years) for clean, easy feeding of Reptiles, Spiders etc. Housed in a ventilated container these roaches can not climb or fly and, unlike crickets and other livefoods, they do not smell or make a noise! I have fed on carrots and Weetabix but they eat most foodstuffs. This colony has fed our bearded dragons over recent years but sadly we have just lost our last one. Dubia roach feeding/breeding colony

Dubia roach feeding/breeding colony

Hi I recently purchased a colony of Dubia roaches for my bearded dragon as she is on a hunger strike. I bought them in hopes of her eating them as when she was younger she used to love them, but she is not interested. So I figured Iā€™d see if someone else needs them. The colony consists of about: 10 adult females 8 adult males And about 200 mixed sizes They are in a tub with tiny holes drilled into the lid for ventilation. That tub measures about 10inch x 24inch. They are on a substrate of coco fibre and sphagnum moss to help with humidity. I feed them potatoes and carrots which provide enough food and water for them. I change the food out every other day. As long as the food is changed regularly, they donā€™t smell. They are excellent feeders for reptiles and other things, and excel most other live food in terms of nutrients. They never bite or attack you or your pets whereas crickets are able to. They are relatively easy to breed providing thereā€™s enough food and heat (about 30 celsius) Or if you do not wish to breed them just keep them at room temp or by a window. Either way Iā€™d still advise feeding them as they will be better as feeders when they are fattened up. Males have developed wings, females do not, and nymphs have none. NOTE: While males have wings, they CANā€™T fly. They canā€™t climb smooth surfaces, especially adults as they are too heavy. Please message me if you are interested or have any questions about them. I donā€™t drive unfortunately so they will need to be collected. Thank you. Read More

Dubia Roach colony - Now sold

Now that I no longer have my Bearded Dragon I am selling a healthy breeding colony of Roaches. What you will get is an unknown number of insects from the smallest to fully grown all together. I never set out to breed them, they just did it by themselves! I would be happiest if they were collected from near Chelmsford, but if postage is required I will only post them on a Monday and once posted, the purchaser will have full responsibility for them. There are upwards of 400 Roaches in the colony and of all ages. This could be a perfect and affordable to greatly reduce the cost of feeding your reptile, but please ensure that these insects are suitable for it. Read More

Bearded dragons and water dragons for sale

Bearded dragons and water dragons for sale

We have for sale 2xbearded dragons and 3xwater Dragons, they will also be sold with the unit and setup. My boyfriend bought these without thinking where they were going to go as the unit is pretty big, it is now at his dad's house but his dad has no interest so we feel they would be better off in a home that has the space and the time for them to thrive. The bearded dragons are very friendly and handled regularly, the water dragons have not been handled whilst being with us as they are so quick, but maybe someone with more knowledge on them could change this. Only knowledgeable homes please as they are lovely little things and they deserve more than we can give them Ā£400ono for everything! Read More

2 Vittakins Dragons (Bearded/Rankins Dragons) with full set

2 14 month old Vittikins dragons with full setup up for sale. Vittikins dragons are a hybrid mix between bearded dragons so they look unique and are now fully grown at around 1ft long each. The green one is male leatherback, very active and boystrous but loves being handled. The Orange one is Female needs to be regularly handled otherwise she becomes a little shy. But once out for few minutes, she will chill on the sofa with you just fine. They currently eat leafy greens, veg and occasionally fruit (pineapple!!) every day and a mixture of crickets.locusts and waxworms every other day. They come with: 2x 3ft vivariums each with 24 inch UBV 10.0 bulbs, ceramic heaters and 50w basking bulbs. A timer system to manage daytime bulbs, and a thermostat to turn on the ceramic heaters when temperatures get too low (usually at night) Various habitat accessories and repticarpets (these are super easy to clean) I also have some supplemental calcium, cleaning equipment, and mist bottle. All in its about Ā£300 worth of equipment + Ā£80 per lizard They need to go to a good home, I am forced to move abroad for work so it's a reluctant sale. Read More
