Similarly I can choose oak with your preferred 'features' i.e. cracks, grain, knots. Planed, Sanded and finished with Danish Oil/Wax/Stain. Each beam comes complete with concealed floating shelf brackets fitted into your beam making it easy for you to place onto your wall. Prices for 5ft Mantels start from Solid Oak shelves, Doorstops and Coat racks available. Please Note: Oak is a natural product each piece may be different in appearance and marginally in colour. They almost certainly will contain surface cracks, knots, pin holes and slightly uneven edges. This adds to the natural beauty and character of Oak. Although air dried occasionally the oak can develop slight further movement, marginal splits and cracks as it acclimatizes to your properties temperature. All of the above statements will not be treated as defects. CASH ON COLLECTION ONLY I purchased this unit from House of Oak (brand is Besp-Oak) just over a year ago but have never used it (so brand new) as a week after delivery I suddenly found myself having to move and my new temporary place did not have the space for it.
