I am a confident and competent 17 year old rider who is looking for a horse/horses to ride. Ideally I'm looking for something over 14.2hh as I am quite tall, however I have no problems riding something smaller. I have experience riding many types of horses, from school masters to nervous horses that need a little more reassurance so I have no problems riding something that may be a bit more challenging. I have previously worked at a riding school so I can carry out stable jobs confidently and independently if required. Good evening. Does anyone local to me need a hand exercising their horse(s)? I'm looking to get back in the saddle having not ridden in a few months. I have ridden for about 10 to 12 years, have hunted with the Blankney and also a hunt near Melton Mowbray. Used to have my own horses up until about three or four years ago. I am desperately looking for somebody to come and ride/exercise my 11.3hh section a. Nemo is 11 years old, very mature and good to ride on and off the lead, he has taught many people to ride including my 5 year old niece and his previous loaner who was 9, he is good in walk and trot, however can be a little stubborn in canter and needs pushing on so somebody confident enough to push him would be a bonus. Nemo absolutely adores jumping and its his favourite thing, he also loves hacking out and is good as gold on the road. Nemo is good to brush and tack up. I am finding it hard to manage working my other ponies aswell as Nemo and he is getting grossly over weight due to the amount of grass and lack of work. Nemo will not be moving from his current yard in Sawley, the yard has good hacking nearby and a big menage with jumps/poles etc. If youre interested please do message.
