Hello I am just putting the feelers out to see if any horse shares in Leighton Buzzard! I know there are a few yards on the outskirts of the town. 16hh Mare for share 2 or more days per week

Red (16hh) 11 year old, mare is for share 2+ days per week for someone over 18 who is mainly interested in hacking out but the occasional ride in the school is fine. I need an experienced and confident rider to help me to continue to build up reds confidence whilst out hacking. She is a sensible ride but no horse is 100% Please note there is NO jumping. She would also suit someone wanting to get back into riding. She is a lovely big girl who loves to hack with others but can be taken out alone when sharer is confident. Ideally someone who wants to actually spend time with her and love and groom her rather than just the riding side of things. She just needs more love and TLC as I work full time and also attend college I am struggling with spending the time with her that she deserves. At the moment no stable jobs need to be completed Monday-Friday but they do need to be done on weekend days. These include mucking out fresh water and hay but could potentially put her on unassisted in the future if it suits both me and sharer. Based on a lovely 5* friendly yard in St. Albans with helpful friendly staff and miles of off road hacking through heartwood forest and 3 riding arenas. The yard often host many group hacks on the riding school which are sometimes available to liveries at the cost of the sharer. Sharer Wanted (1-2 days per week)

I'm potentially looking for a sharer for my Welsh Cob 1-2 days per week as his regular rider is having to take some time out (not due to any misdemeanor on his part!). However, if / when his rider returns, there may be the option to continue and to ride other horses. He is a 14.2hh older boy who still has a lot to give and to teach someone. He is a very kind pony who looks after his rider and will plod all day (you will usually be at the back when hacking!) but will step up a gear for someone more experienced. When fit, he enjoys a canter and will pop the occasional log and probably would still do a nice walk / trot test but obviously he's not going to be bombed around or jumping courses. Thus he is available mostly for light hacking, which will always be accompanied by me and often one or two others. Due to his age, I am looking for a rider who weighs no more than 10 stone. He will take a novice rider, although I can't accommodate complete beginners, so as a minimum I would ask that his rider can walk and trot confidently, put on and remove rugs, tack up correctly (with assistance the first time) and check and adjust own girth and stirrups once mounted. He may suit someone looking to return to riding after a break, or a more mature person just wanting to enjoy some quiet hacking. I am looking for someone who can commit to ride a minimum of one weekday per week. Days can vary on a weekly basis if needed. Times to ride vary too so some flexibility is required as they are negotiated on the day. Times are probably not likely to fit in with a young person still at school / college and won't necessarily fit in with a school run times either. I do ask for a small, on-going contribution towards his keep to be paid on a 4-weekly basis. I am looking for someone to share my horse Bobby as I am travelling. He is on Home farm in Mottram and ideally looking for someone that is interested in giving him a bit of extra attention. He is good in the school although not too forward going and he can hack out with others and loves been taken for walks. Looking for an experienced person who wants the joy of owning without full time commitment. Absolutely GORGEOUS chocolate Dun Quarter horse, 15.2hh 8 years old (but very green due to late start to working life) Looking for an experienced adult rider who doesn't mind a few quirks, nothing nasty just green due to a late start. Does not buck bolt or rear but has a tendency to go backwards when frightened by something (although is stopable), wiggles around at the mounting block, weaves when brought into the stable. He will hack out alone aswell as in company but he really does rely on his rider for confidence. He is a genuine lovely person and loves human attention. Only reason he is up for share is i work nights but also have another part time job in the day. 2 week days and 1 weekend to suit Based in Grendon so must drive and must have own rider insurance. Horse will be your sole responsibility on your days i.e feeding, mucking out (in winter) etc Contribution towards keep would be appreciated but if duties are carried out this is neg.
