Offered for sale is my Grandfathers Governess Cart/Carriage. We do not know the year of it or even it's era, but would at a guess put it around . In good order, the cart was restored prior to him buying it years ago for my auntie to use. This never happened and was kept in dry storage until around a month ago when we got it out from under the sheet and gave it a wipe over for some pictures. Looks to be in good order but will need some tidying up to some trim pieces. The right hand shaft has previously been repaired at some point, I have no idea why. This is a seat from an old gig, trap, cart, carriage but is in general good condition. It's just dusty in photos. It's cushion has a small tear on corner as shown in photo. The wood is fine as is the metalwork so would be a great easy restoration project or spare seat. Just needs little sprucing up. It would need collecting because of size.
