As part of my bike bits and bobs clear out. Pair of Hope 'Black' Skewers. I had these on my road/cross bike with has disc brakes and Hope Pro4 hubs, so rear skewer will fit 135mm spacing i.e. will work with both road and MTB. They have a couple of scrapes (see photos), due to myself putting them on too tight and in a position where I couldn't get my full hand behind them to release them, had to resort to using a ring spanner to aid their release hence the scrapes....lesson learned 'before closing them' make sure you can get your full hand in to release them. Please note: These are harder to open/close than other skewers I've used, and as I get older I need something easier to open/close especially with cold hands, hence reason for sale. FOR SALE Great set of reliable, strong, super smooth Mavic Crossride front and rear 26 inch mountain bike disc wheels. Hub bearings recently replaced by shop and rims running true. Wheels are clean and have many years of use ahead of them. Only flaw is outer edge of the rims are a little scratched in places. This won't affect use or strength. Run true and smoothly and come with a set of tyres in excellent condition (23 x x 23c Braking surfaces as new 7 speed cassette in good condition - should work with a new chain but no guarantee. Spacing - 130mm rear - 100mm front Not an identical pair but very close design wise... you'd have to look very close to notice... see pictures. To be absolutely honest, the rear is a genuine Mavic on Shimano hub, but the front rim is actaully an Allexrims S500 on Shimano hub. I just stuck a sticker on to make them match better.
