HONDA VFR 800f W reg () I bought this bike as an non runner crashed bike as I needed a few parts for mine. Also a challenge to get it running. When I started looking at it I found that the crash had broken the main wiring loom connector. So I striped the broken connector off and connected the wires correctly. Checked the oil and water, Charged the battery and boom.... she started no issues on choke for 30 seconds and runs mint. Ticks over perfect, revs up perfect, sounds perfect... People love these V4 engines for kit cars as they have power and reliability. The frame looks fine as does the swing arm, rear shock and all the internals. The crash appears to be a front ender that ended up sliding down the road. The forks are nackered, as are all the fairings. Left handle bar broken. Front wheel smashed and rear with a little ding but a very good inflated tyre. The whole front end must have took the brunt of the hit. The salvage company I bought this from stated it hasn't been recorded as crashed. I have the V5 in my name. Now I have the engine running, the winning bidder of course would like to see and hear it running, so I won't take my bits off until after the sale. The bits I will be taking off will be the exhaust and battery. So when bidding, please bare this in mind, the bike will NOT have the exhaust or battery. Obviously can not be ridden away!
