Honda 4 stroke 2HP Outboard short shaft.

This outboard has had very little use & spent most of its life in dry storage. It was serviced drained & stored about 6 years ago until today when I oiled & fuelled it. It started & ran perfectly. It is an energetic little outboard which is light(About 12kg) & easy to carry & mount. It has a centrifugal clutch meaning it will idle quietly & safely as the propeller will only turn when you rev the throttle. Reversing is quick & easy with the ability to spin the motor 360 degrees. It is air cooled so no water pump which reduces maintenance & improves reliability. It also comes with a kill cord safety cut off & lanyard. This outboard has many years of reliable service in it.

Working Honda outboard, recently serviced by professional marine engine company. Four stroke, integral tank. Collect from Millbrook. These are photos taken this April. There is one known fault, a small crack in the plastic that holds the throttle cable, see enlarged photo, and there is a jubilee clip added to the cable holding to secure the throttle cable. The throttle works so this isn't an issue when operating the motor, but just want to be sure that you understand before coming to see the engine. Good second hand motor, ready for the season.
