Hohner Student V, 48 Bass, 26 Treble Keys, Piano Accordion.

Up for sale, I have a Hohner, Student V, 48 bass accordion with 26 treble keys, 2 voice, tremolo tuned (MM), treble keyboard measuring " ranging from B to C. It has 3 treble couplers, M (Clarinet), MM (Clarinet and Clarinet) and M (Clarinet). It is a 4 voice bass. Both treble and bass reeds have been tuned to concert pitch (A = 440Hz). Not sure where the accordion was made, it was either, Germany, or China, with the Hohner name on it, circa, 's/ 00’s, so it is quite a good quality instrument, using the finest of materials. Keyboard is fast and quiet. It has also been serviced with adjustments, replacements and cosmetic touches made where required. The compression is excellent, and it also comes with one original shoulder strap (red one), and a black strap, which is in similar dimensions. Comes with a good quality hard case. This is an excellent accordion, suitable for beginners to experienced players, which has had very little use, hence, little wear and has many years of life left in it. This accordion can either be viewed by appointment, or alternately, you can get in touch and we can arrange a time to view it through skype, or if you just want to near what it sounds like, I can make an audio recording on request. In addition to the above, I am offering 1 hour of free tuition valid up to 1 month after the purchase of the accordion. Unfortunately, I cannot discount from the accordion, the price of the lesson to anyone who cannot take up my offer of the hour’s free lesson. I am prepared to post this accordion at buyer’s own expense. I will give a weight of the accordion for postage purpose; where upon the buyer can arrange a courier to pick it up from my premises. Up for sale is a Hohner Atlantic IV, musette, which has, 41 treble keys, 4 sets of treble reeds (LMMM). Treble keyboard measures ", with a note ranging from F to A. It has 11 treble couplers, starting from the top, they are, Master (LMMM), Bassoon, Musette (MMM) (L), LM, Bandoneon), Bassoon (L), Clarinet, (M). These are repeated with a third master added on the end. It also has a wrist master coupler. It has 4 sets of bass reeds, with 3 couplers, starting from the bottom, lower sets of reeds, master coupler and high sets of reeds. The accordion, with its straps, weighs 10.9kgs, (24lbs). The accordion has been, tuned, palleted, both treble bass. It has also has a new set of shoulder straps, and bass strap.. A lot of work has gone into this accordion, approx. 35 hours +. Both bass and treble reeds have been tuned to concert pitch (A = 440Hz). It was bought as a birthday present for my husband eight years ago, but unfortunately after his initial burst of enthusiasm he doesn't find the time to enjoy it! Up for sale, I have a Hohner Amati VIII, 5 row C system accordion for sale. It has 4 treble voices (LMMM), treble (Musette Tuned), 49 notes, ranging from A (A, lower than a 41 note piano accordion) to Bb (higher than the high A on a 41 key piano accordion), so that it has a 5 octave range from the lowest A to the highest A. It has 2 sliding couplers, behind the treble keyboard, making available 4 combinations of reed configurations, these are, M (Clarinet), LM (Bassoon and Clarinet), MMM (Musette) and LMMM (Master). It has 5 sets of reeds in the bass, with 1 sliding coupler switching between upper reeds (high) and master, all reeds sounding. Bass and treble reeds have been re-valved, and tuned to concert pitch (A = 440Hz). Both the bass and treble have been re pallated. The accordion is made by Hohner, an excellent Italian manufacturer, Circa, early 's, so it is a quality instrument, using the finest of materials. Treble keyboard buttons and felts are original and have been levelled. I have replaced 3 of the diminished buttons in the bass section. It weighs 10kg, 22lbs. It has also been serviced with adjustments, replacements and cosmetic touches made where required. The compression is excellent. The accordion comes with a new ruck sack (Retail at about £100). Both the shoulder and bass straps are not original but are of good quality Italian make. The bellows straps are original. I have kept the price of all my accordions to the absolute minimum. Accordions, by nature, are very complex and have an extraordinary amount of moving parts (the bigger they are, the more work is involved) and therefore consume a vast amount of time in an overhaul to bring them up to a high standard of playability. Finally admitting my midgetness and downgrading to an accordion that isn't bigger than my torso. The Hohner has an awesome sound, is very light for it's class (still too heavy for me!) and is pretty indestructible - once saw someone drops theirs on a stone floor with no damage whatsoever. Mine is a couple of years old, barely played and sounding fabulous. They go for £ new and I'm hoping for around £900 for mine but open to negotiation.
