Retro grey tweed boucle 50's shabby chic vintage club arm

We have owned these adorable old vintage armchairs for a number of years but have now bought leather armchairs so they are looking for new homes. They are circa and have very stylish club arms and straight back,they are covered in their original grey boucle tweed fabric which is a great on trend colour for todays homes, we had the seat cushion inners replaced professionally with high density foam when we first acquired them(meeting fire regs)and the backs are buttoned(there is one missing on one of the chairs but its not really noticeable as they are in matching fabric) they are comfortable to sit on and a nice compact size and have castors on the bottom,some are original others are replacements.There is some wear on the edges of the arms as can be seen in the photos but overall they are in remarkably good condition for their age, but could be recovered or have loose covers made if preferred,there are no fire labels as they were made prior to fire regs. The cushions shown in photos are not included but they would look fab with retro print fabric cushions in mustard/grey or turquoise shades against the grey. We can deliver one or both locally if needed for free or a little further away for just our fuel cost. £60 each or the two for £100.

Rare, Vintage, Hofner Committee

Hofner Committee Brunette archtop acoustic, (Serial Number: ) complete with extremely rare Framus period-correct aftermarket pickup set: I have owned this guitar since and it came with the pickups fitted. (These are a rare and valuable collectors item in their own right!) As far as I know they were purchased along with the guitar. It is in very good vintage player condition but is definitely not a pristine “case queen”. Please note, however, that the neck has never required a reset and the heel has not cracked as often happens with vintage Hofners. The guitar comes with its original, very beaten-up case and a replacement enclosed Van Ghent tuner which I have never got around to fitting. I’m slowly downsizing my collection and have come to realise that, despite my sentimental attachment to this lovely instrument, I seldom play it and so would be better moving it on to a new owner who would hopefully appreciate it as much as I have. Hofner 12 String Acoustic Vintage

Selling my Vintage 12 String Hofner. I’ve owned this guitar for 25 years and it’s had very little if any use if I’m honest over those years. I have had the guitar looked over previously by my local luthier who said what a fantastic piece of work the Guitar was. I’d took it as the scratch plate has become “bobbly” over the years. He said, “does it bother you?”. I stopped and thought about it and I figured I didn’t care. I wanted it to be original - warts and all. Changing it is a coupla quid should it be something that puts you off her though. I’d think long and hard first as it is pretty amazing this instrument is as it is. How many modern 12 Strings will be going this many years into the future? It’s very difficult to put a specific date upon manufacture but I have been told it’s most likely to date back to some time around the 50’s. So to the stuff I was told for sure! The Guitar is a 12 strong dreadnought, made by Hofner in West Germany. It is post apparently due to the truss rod. And now to the stuff I can tell you as her owner! This guitar is fantastic quality. The neck has stayed beautifully straight - it appears to have had some kind of repair at some point in its life but has had no issues during the 25 years it has lived with me! It has a few nicks and dings here and there (as shown) but surprisingly good condition for its age. It plays very nicely and has a lovely rich, aged sound to it. If you are looking for an affordable 12 string with an aged sound and “different” to anything else you’ll ever see anywhere else, this is your guitar. Comes with a good quality padded bag. Read more

Vintage 's Hofner Verithin Guitar. As far as I can see it is original apart from the tremolo arm and pickup wiring. The tremolo arm is a replica of the original but relatively new. I had the pickups rewired because the original pots had seized up. I still have the original pots and wiring however. Includes an original "tweed" case.
