Hi-Gear Kalahari 8-man tent bought new 3 years ago. During this time we have only used the tent 4 times. No smoking family and at the time no pets (we have a dog now but never stayed in the tent). The full spec can be found on the Go Outdoors website but precisely it is: mm hydro head, weight 24.4kg, sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 or 2 separate compartments. There is also a large central area where an adult can easily stand up. There are 2 entrance doors and the zip to one is broken (the door can still be sealed, its the zip to the net that is broken). This is a big tent so only really suitable for use over a couple of days or more. Also included is the Kalahari porch. A really useful add-on to give additional space. We found it an ideal utility room in which to place the cooker, table, food etc. Cooking inside the tent is not advisable. Currently retails for £437. We are selling our Hi Gear Kalahari 8 tent with the porch and all the accessories you need for a family camping trip. The tent is really spacious and it is full head height! We bought our tent two years ago. It is in excellent condition. The only reason we are now selling this is because we have decided to buy a caravan. We are a family of four who bought the tent to ensure we all had plenty of space. There is absolutely loads of space and with the addition of the porch it is perfect. It is a stable tunnel-style tent with two large partitionable bedrooms in a face-to-face layout, roomy enough for you, your family and all your gear. The bedrooms are at each end of the tent, in 2+2 inners with breathable polyester walls. Bedrooms can also be removed, to give you extra storage space. The large living space has two large windows and hanging storage pockets to help keep it tidy, organised and liveable. Multiple vents along the roof help air flow throughout the tent. There is a sewn in groundsheet however, we bought the additional groundsheet which also comes with this. We also have the carpet for the internal living area as seen on the attached photograph. There are two doors that can be propped and extended out to use for extra shelter from rain or stretching the space out for more room if it's sunny. Other useful features include the water-repellent zips and dual electrical cable access points. We are including the hook up which is Outwell Mains 3 Way Roller Kit with USB & Light. We also have a two burner cooker with the cooking stand which is incredibly useful. It provides two cupboards for food storage and folds up flat in to a very useful bag. The camping fridge is incredibly useful. We have two small children so it has allowed us to keep all fresh food cool. You can also plug this in to your car when you are travelling to the site to ensure everything is cold on arrival. We have a king size airbed which also comes with this. The airbed is fantastic. It is quite high off the ground. You blow it by just plugging this in to the hook up so it only takes a couple of minutes and then you take the air out using the same method! I can honestly say I have had some of my best nights sleep in the tent on this airbed! We are also including two camp beds which we bought for the children. One is in pink and one is blue.
