Speedy the Hermann's tortoise in Bristol

I regret to sell my 5 year old male tortoise named Speedy. Has a great personality kind, curious and fast as his name says. Healthy, no health issues before either. Beautiful markings and smooth shell. He comes with his correct paperwork. 11cm straight shell length and 14cm 'over the curve'. Kept on wild greens and flowers with supplements. He does everything as he should. Reason of selling that my old male doesn't like him as he's become matured. Advise and care sheet will be given with him. This species can hibernate, but it's not necessary. Please feel free to ask any questions on him. Viewings are welcome.

I have kept and bred both Hermanns & Spur Thighed tortoises for over 37 years.These 2 breeds are the hardiest and were the first to be brought into this country in the late 50's early 60's.I now have hatchlings ready to go. You will be invited to visit, see all the girls and boys and eggs in the incubators. You will go away with a list of items required. My hatchlings are brought up in an open unit NO vivarium's. The baby can go into the garden from day one during the Summer and will go out full time year 2/3 and hibernate thereafter.You are bringing up an English tortoise as it is bred here so going into the garden from an early age will harden it off to our climate.
