Unique piece! Very iconic 50s desk lamp from the German Helo Leuchten. The base and the hood are both black metal with leaf decoration that has gotten a gold plated layer. Sharpened with a layered brass edge. The lamp works and has been tested. Works with an E27 lamp holder. With pushbutton on the base of the lamp. Shade diameter approx. 40 cm. Height approx. 35 cm. Very beautiful vintage designer lampMost likely from the Kaiser & Co. factories, Neheim-Hüsten.No brand or stamp can be found on the lamp, however.Maybe this was originally a sticker that is now lost?The sockets are identical to the ones that can be found in the 'president lamp' by Louis Kalff for Philips...So maybe this rather is a Philips lamp, designed by Louis Kalff?Either way, it is of high quality, the clamp that is used to heighten or lower the lamp is solid. Everything feels sturdy and of high-quality.The base is in fine overall condition.Some signs of wear, everything matching its age.The shade has three small bumps and is also slightly bent (barely visible). The lamp still stands very neatly and thus in overall good vintage condition.The chromed lid on the foot is slightly loose, I do not know if this is normal, it does not seem serious.The switch has cracked but functions just fine.Measurements:height (adjustable): approx. 43 cm to approx. 55 cmLamp shade diameter: 33 cmIncandescent lights are NOT included because of shipping.You may always contact me for more photos or information.
