Approx 15hh cob mare. 8 years old. Daisy was previously used for driving, she then had a couple of years off to have 2 foals, then I purchased her to back to riding. I have taken it very steady with her, she is a sensitive mare who I think has been driven fast previously. She is forward going and only needs voice commands to go. She was ridden and backed with loveridge equine services, check out his page on fb. Daisy seems to be suiting calm riders who can relax and show her that calm is a good! She is fine with traffic and has been hacked alone but she needs repetition, to not have her mind blown and steady 1 to 1. She just is anxious to want to get it right sometimes bless her. She is good to catch, load, stable, worm. Up to date with teeth, tetanus and passported and will live in a mixed herd. Project mare for sale. She is up to date with worming, farrier, has had the saddle fitter and had her back checked. Had her teeth done in march this year. Been backed earlier this year and was working away in walk trot and a small amount of canter. Has since been out of work for a few months so sold from field. She is good in traffic although it will need to be reintroduced but it won't take long. Has also jumped a small cross pole. Lives out all year but will stable happily. She is a good doer, will live off fresh air. She's a very loving mare who would excel on a one to one basis. Her bad points are she can be quite nervous around new people and things but quickly comes around with reassurance. I had some issues getting her feet done but with patience from her farrier and a packet of polos she is much better. Billy is a 15hh 6 year old cob gelding. He's a true gentleman to be around, he's like a big dog with manners to die for. He is young and can be nervous and needs a confident rider to bring the best out in him, he hacks in company brilliant doesn't matter wether he is in front or behind it doesn't matter. He needs work on hacking alone as he is still building his confidence up although he will go with encouragement. He is shoed all round and is good stands there, he has been clipped and he was good but wasn't keen on his legs being done but did let me do them. He loves to be out and about hacking and is happy to do so alone or in company, always unfazed by the heaviest of traffic. For sale: This is an extremely heartbreaking sale for both me and the owner of this lovely boy bailey. Bailey is 5 years of age and is coming on nicely in his education, he is a very forward thinking horse and does take everything in his stride. He lunges perfectly and has been backed, he just now needs someone who can further him and his education. This horse has massive potential and really will excel for the right person - this must be someone with experience as we want only the best for him. The only reason he is for sale is lack of time as I am full time at university otherwise I would have him. Bailey is perfect to catch, lead and tack up - can sometime refuse his bridle but the more handling he gets the better he becomes. Daisy. 8 year old. Passported, vaccinated, wormed. Daisy was driven on all types of roads she then was a broodmare for 2 years. She has now been backed to riding and proving to be a very sweet willing mare. She is forward going, sometimes strong but only ridden in a snaffle. Has been walked around bitless. Daisy is just learning the ropes and trust. She is very genuine. She is fine to load, stable and catch. Can stay barefoot and sound and live in a mixed herd. She will make a wonderful riding horse once finished. All 3 of my horses are currently up for sale. Whichever one is left will be kept to produce further over winter. The only fault I'd say daisy has is she snatches her hooves back when picking them out. This can only improve with time. Daisy will easily carry 14 stone. Suit an experienced rider who wants to ride long hours and cover some ground! Daisy doesn't yet have much style jumping on the lunge but she will jump any filler.
