very sad sale of our beautiful family cob. Ride and drive gelding. Topper is 13.1hh and is 13years old. Chunky lad with feather and lots of mane n tail. Topper knows his job driving. can drive down the busiest heavest roads with no problems. will drive on own or in company. done driving trials with 4 wheel buggy in previous home and pulled 2 wheeled trap with us.. Also in the time we've owned him hes been ridden by all members of the family including novice children n grandma. Hes attended local shows in inhand with one of my novice children. done handy pony which he is total unflappable. This summer he joined the local carnvival prade with big bands n loads of noise again with no problems.. I can not fault this lad. Will let kids mess with him n brush him. stables and turns out without any vices. rides alone and in company in open field, trails, busy roads etc. fab with farrier and to load.. 100% genuine sale. older child lost intrest and lack of time to drive him. such ashame to see him stood around when hes super at his work and loves his job as a alround family cob.. I bought him earlier this year to ride whilst my mare was on box rest due to her ligament damage and so he is no longer needed. unfortunately I haven't been able to find a saddle to fit him and so has not been used by me apart from lunging. 14.3 cob gelding, this pony is a dream to be around, he would be a perfect mother daughter share, my 6 year old daughter rides him and I would also put my nan on him, he hacks alone or in company first last or in the middle, we have to hack down a dual carriage way from our farm over a big bridge and he doesn't bat a eyelid. He's green in the school but that's due to me as I prefer to hack and get youngsters out and about, we have done farm, fun, beach rides and been on holidays. Sad sale and in no rush to sell! Super safe year old gelding. He would be the perfect child's pony club/ all rounder. Shadow is the ideal confidence giver. He is a gem to handle on the ground in or out of the stable, isn't bolshy at all. He loves attention and will stand all day to be brushed and fussed with. Good to travel (trailer or lorry), with farrier (currently barefoot), clip, bath etc. Has lived in for the last few months but is also happy to live out. Will hack out alone or in company and is good to ride in the school. Shadow is good in traffic and in open spaces.
