Snake hatchling housing rack
I have available this rack made from an Ikea unit, suitable for housing hatchling/juvenile snakes of smaller species (has been used for house snakes and western hognose snakes). Includes 25 tubs - four 2 litre (26l x 17w x 9h) and twenty-one 0.6 litre (16.5l x 11w x 7h). The tubs have clip-on lids with small air holes both ends of the lid. The rack is heated with 100w heat cable set under aluminium tape for heat distribution across of the tubs, and there is fixed wooden rail to prop the tubs up so that they are level but have air flow underneath. The remainder of the heat cable is affixed to the rear panel to help provide a temperature gradient in the tubs. Heat cable is controlled by a habistat pulse stat. The whole set up has been in place for two years and has had light use in that time with no issues. The entire unit is 40cm wide, 28cm deep and 106cm high. (The thermostat adds a little width onto these measurements) Habistat Pulse-Proportional Thermostat 600w 12 metre heat cable 100w 21x 0.6 litre clip-lid tubs 4x 2 litre clip-lid tubs The attached photographs show it from several angles. Collection from Westbury, Wiltshire. Asking for Β£100 for everything. It doesn't easily dismantle but should fit in a car. Read More
