Outwell Hartford XXL Family Tent 8-12 Berth in Croydon

This is a HUGE family tent with 4 sleeping pods (all will fit a queen size inflatable bed) set around a very large living area. There is a small repair to the fitted groundsheet. Two of the bedroom pods will need stitching down one of the seems - this has not bothered us as we do not use them to sleep in. There are no rips or tears in the outer tent fabric and it is watertight - we have just returned from a week in Norfolk and had some heavy rain and high winds and all stayed dry! Selling as it is a bit too big for us now!

Used Large family tent - great for those family breaks away. 4 large sleeping pods comfortably sleeping 8 adults and really large living area. All poles, canvass, mallet and collection of pegs included. This tent has only been used twice. There is quite a bit of patching on the canvass and some rust due to storing in the shed. Also one small burn hole in the floor and a broken zip pull but the zip is fully operational. Some life in this tent yet and considering tents like this cost over £600 new, you can pick up a bargain! Hartford xxl 12 person tent. Sorry about photos we took them as packing away on holiday and it was a little muddy! This is a used tent it keeps you dry with plenty of room. It has a large centre area and 4 bedroom pods off it. Built in ground sheet. No footprint but we just used tarpaulin which you can pick up easily as this isn’t included. It does have some marks and few stains which were there when we brought it but we disinfected it all and this doesn’t effect the tent overall. Great for if your not sure if you will like camping or to last for years to come as it’s a good tent. We have just decided to upgrade which is the only reason we are selling. Nice sturdy tent. Good used condition tent. Large 8 berth tent with enough headroom in the center to stand fully straight. Was £500 when bought new No damage to outside of tent and is watertight, slight discoloration as shown in pictures. One slight hole in the ground sheet which is about 10mm x 3mm in size which is easily reparable. Three poles have started splitting as shown in pictures and taped up and these still work fully with no restrictions, one replacement pole in with tent and other replacements can be bought and are not expensive if you want to replace them. The elastic holding the poles together on one set of poles has snapped but this does not prevent the poles being used and the poles are still secure, the elastic is there to make setting up quicker, for a few pounds additional elastic can be bought on various sites The tent takes some time to put up and needs two people but it is a joy once up and if it is raining then there is plenty of room in the center of the tent to sit. This has been an excellent family tent which has been used 7 times. We are selling as we are downsizing. The tent is in very good condition, no holes or tears and all the poles are in working order. The tent is single skin with a sewn in groundsheet, except for the front porch which has its own separate groundsheet. We are including a footprint which helps to protect the groundsheet from holes and tears and helps to keep it clean, especially in wet conditions. This is classed as an 8 berth tent so there has been plenty of room to sleep the 5 of us. There are 3 sleeping pods and one central area high enough to stand up in, even if you are over 6 feet. The sleeping pods are their own contained unit which are attached to the main tent. Each can be removed to create extra space depending on the number of people using the tent. Two of the pods are larger than the other one. The larger pods take a double airbed quite easily. If you want to use the back door as an entrance/exit then the smaller pod has to be removed.
