Offered for sale "thistledown miss Venezuela" aka lady, lady is a 14 yr full up 13'2 section B mare, she's the sweetest little mare you'll ever find never puts a foot wrong, she's being sold as a happy hacker... She's never been broken as such just tacked up n ridden away and she loves it, she will make an ideal child's pony or small adult due to her size and fine build. She is never silly, strong or spooky, she has been out in light traffic and is now getting used to seeing larger vehicles (big wagons, tractors etc) and so far nothing has knocked her off her stride... Before lady came into our lives she was a broodmare on a stud and has bred 7 amazing foals we bought her solely as a companion pony due to us being 6ft tall... And lady is happy to be just that, a companion.... 16h, 11yrs, lovely bay tb mare for sale. 100% perfect in heavy traffic regularly hacks out on busy main roads with cars, wagons, buses, motorbikes etc nothing fazes her. Will happily go in front or behind on roads, tracks, fields, jumps logs, ditches, even puddles. Nice snaffle mouth not strong at all, nice jump, clean limbed. I bought her couple months ago as wanted a riding horse as turned the youngster away to be a baby and was missing riding. Only done mainly hacking as this is what i enjoy aswell as her. Only for sale as started new job and struggling to have time for her. Has been seen to windsuck when she knows it's time to be fed. Beautiful Nancy seeks Happy Hacking Home

Looking for a kind, safe, fun, super happy hacker??? Nancy is your girl. Nancy a 15.2hh Clydesdale x Cob mare, 7 yrs old (turning 8 in Jan ) Safe as houses, willing off the leg, with great brakes, kind hearted and great fun. She is looking for a hacking only home and could be ridden by any member of the family. She is a weight carrier, but also sweet enough to entrust your children on. She is too good not to have a job. She has been ridden by all ages and abilities (I have given some lessons on her) and is consistently kind and fun and willing. She is an armchair ride but with good acceleration too. Always snaffle mouthed. She is an extremely healthy good doer, happy unshod. Always up to date with vacs, feet, teeth, saddle checked. Completely vice free. Excellent in traffic. She will not pass a vetting, and cannot be ridden in a school-although she is willing to do anything for you, she will go lame behind. Our vets from Hampdens Equine would be happy to let you know her history and their recommendations for her future. She was about to become a Riding for the Disabled Mount, and her personality and type are perfect for that, but then we discovered she has problems with her stifle when schooled, so she is looking for a purely hacking home instead. Of course she could also be a companion, but she is such a kind, willing ride that it seems a waste for her not to be employed. She is generally ridden English style now, but has had some Western training too and she has tack for both. Her Western tack is stunningly beautiful and exceptionally comfortable. Bought by us 2 and a half years ago at just rising 5, for my complete novice hubby to learn on. He however much prefers his mountain bike. And now my young horse is in work we cannot justify holding on to Nancy too. We are happy to answer all questions honestly and thoroughly for serious enquirers.. 14.2hh Welsh D gelding, happy hacker for sale

Very special 16 year old Welsh D for sale. Pedro is an ex trekking pony, he has worked for the yard for 10 years but is now looking for a new home due to the yard closing (owner retiring). Pedro has done everything from total novice walk rides up to 4 day stay away rides. He has also pulled a carriage at Centre Parcs. Good in all traffic, with trains, tanks, chinooks and happy to cross the A303 dual carriageway. He will go first or last and is happy in open country, used to riding over Salisbury plain. He will hack on his own, but needs a little reassurance from his rider until he gets to know new places. Will live in or out with mares and geldings. He is not strong but can be a little on the forehand as he hasn't done much schooling. Good to box, shoe, catch. Good doer. The bad bits... He has a very low grade lameness on the left fore. This has been present for some time but has not stopped him from enjoying hacking out. The vet has seen him recently to assess his suitability for finding a hacking home. The vet is happy that he suitable for hacking, currently he is doing about an hours ride with walk, trot and canter. Once he is fitter he should be happy to do up to a couple of hours hacking 3 to 4 times a week. The advice is that schooling/jumping and working on a circle would not be so good for him.
