I'm looking for my new friend, I currently have my 21 year old Arab who has slowed down over the past few years (I've had him 18 years!) I'm now looking for a new chap to take over the longer rides, I don't do lots I mainly hack and I do the fun rides over the summer months, I would like to do some hunting but not masses so something good in company is essential. I like to jump up to a level of around 2'6" I dont compete just something to pop the jumps out hunting and fun rides, so a world beater is not necessary! Fun pony – hack / sponsored rides / all-rounder

Lovely natured LW cob mare for sale, 13.3hh 5yo. Good to do in all ways. Safe and sensible but reasonably forward going, easy and fun ride for most riders but no nervous novices please! Loves to hack, good in traffic and in open spaces, regularly boxes out (loads and travels brilliantly) hacks from home alone or in small group – goes in front, middle or behind. Not strong or nappy, has never bucked, reared, bolted or spun etc. Occasionally has the odd ‘look’/minor spook (she is only 5!) but easily reassured with a pat. Been ridden by various ages and abilities from 12yo confident novice upwards. Fairly low mileage in the school, so not a schoolmistress (again, she is only 5!) but improving every time, very willing and honest attitude to work. Three good active paces, bold over trotting poles but has not yet jumped as not current rider’s forte! Starting to show nice outline in walk and trot, soft snaffle mouth and responsive to aids. Totally unspoilt with all basics ready to build on further – she would be an easy summer project for competent older child/teen, or a fun low maintenance hack to enjoy sponsored rides/pub hacks etc. Very very easy to handle on the ground (my not quite 4yo daughter can lead her to and from the field and groom her) She can be a bit reserved with new people but nothing a carrot and a gentle fuss doesn’t fix! Sadly for sale due to lack of time due to other horses. Simon is for sale to a 10* home! He's 12 yo and 16.2. He is an ex racer but been out of racing 5 years and you would never believe he's actually raced as he's that quiet. He's like a cob in a tb's body haha. He's for sale as a light hacking horse due to he got a injury on his back leg which ended his racing career which mean there always fluid in his back hock. He's better living out as when he's stables he gets stiff on it (walks it off after a few steps tho!) I currently stable him at night though. I am only selling as I do not have time for him as I have a youngsters and other horses meaning I don't really have the time to hack him out. William is suitable for any rider as he is chilled out and a plod. His stable manners are amazing never kicks or bites and is very friendly, fine to catch, load. Toby is amazing boy I have owned him for 5yr now he loves hacking and jumping is can move lovely in the school. He is great on the ground my 12y old daughter does loads with him turning him out bring him in grooms him put him on the walker loose schools him u name it she can do it with him. Toby has the potential to do so much more then just hacking. Toby is not bothered by any traffic I have taken him over motorway bridges down main road, housing estate open fields, Toby is the one that goes on the out on the road when out with one that is not great on roads or if I have my daughter riding out with us. When Toby is in regular work u can put anyone on him he is that good but unfortunately Toby does have one vice that if he is not kept in regular work he will put in a few bucks when u get back on him and he needs a confident rider to push him on and this is the same with his schooling once he know u r boss he will go like a dream. As they're fluid in his back hock but hacking out it doesn't bother him, he's better living out tho as he does go stiff if stood in. To ride he is a complete plod!
