Sheldon the Cat - handsome, ginger, male, 4 years old - free to a good home (due to relocation).

Sheldon joined us 2 years ago - but sadly, due to us relocating, he'll now need a new 'forever home'. Sheldon, 'Shelley' was named prior to coming to us. He'll be around 5 years old in the summer & has a lot of life in him yet. He has a good nature and can happily live with other pets and children. He's been used to dogs, cats, and giant pheasants where we live(!) - and hasn't worried about any of them. He's happiest when lazing about in bed or in the sun in the garden (he doesn't wander far). We're sure he'd love a cat-loving family who would give him more time than we can. Once he's used to you, he'll sit on your lap and purr contentedly. He can be a bit nervous with new people at first (just for a while) - when we first brought him home, he hid under the sofa for the most part of two days! Obviously, he gave up in the end and became a good family cat, full of character. We suspect we have a neighbour somewhere who has started feeding him treats, as he's put a little bit of weight on - and he's not been getting more from us. Unless he's suddenly become a stealthy hunter (though he can be a pretty good 'mouser' when he feels like it). He looks even better when he's not being overfed! Hopefully, you'll not have the same issue. He has been neutered and is regularly treated with Frontline Spot-on (the only flea treatment that works where we live) and is flea & worm free. This little lady was from a litter of cats a few doors down from me. The people who have the mother cat have basically put the litter out to fend for themselves and this little lady and her sister survived. I have taken in her sister and feed the other one every day but my cat really doesn't get on with her and keeps attacking her. She is really teeny tiny though she looks huge in that picture.
