IN RESCUE WAITING FOR A NEW HOME FOR OVER TWO YEARS. Spike (also known as Lucky) is a handsome male 3-year-old lurcher, looking for a special home. He is affectionate and gentle. Spike walks beautifully on the lead and does not pull. He is good off the lead with excellent recall, is obedient, and house-trained. Spike is good with other dogs out on walks but would prefer to be the only dog in a home. Spike can be a little temperamental and will need sensitive handling. Could you be the special, understanding, patient owner he needs? Spike is not suitable to live with cats or small children. Spike's ideal home would be in the countryside with a single person or couple with no other dogs. Spike is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date with his vaccinations. This is a very reluctant sale of a much loved pony. Spencer is 3 years old and currently standing at hh although he still has some growing to do and is expected to make around hh. He has 2 blue eyes, lovely markings and lots of feather. We have owned spencer for a year now and he has never put a foot wrong, he has a great character and lots of potential. He is good to catch and lead. He accepts a bit and roller and has started long reining, he has also had a saddle on with no issues. He is very friendly and loves a fuss. He will stand to be groomed, picks all 4 feet up and is good for the farrier. The only reason spencer is looking for a new home is that he is ready to progress with his education now and I don't think I can do him justice, I think he would benefit from an owner who has more experience and confidence than myself. Connemara x 11 year old gelding.

Harley is a great pony from the ground and fabulous around children, young and old, allowing even the youngest to handle him. He will stand all day to be groomed and petted. He has never put a foot wrong on the lead rein but when off of this he has at times a habit of napping unpredictably when ridden out hacking or in the school. For this reason he is unsuitable for young riders off of the lead rein or inexperienced older riders. He has a superb jump, never refusing but can nap at times, especially when competing.
