Lowden F10 Handmade Irish Guitar in Bangor
LOWDEN F10 Made in the Newtownards Lowden Factory - Fitted with LR Baggs Pickup Lowden's are the one brand of guitar, other than some vintage guitars, that have the quality that I like to call "unputdownableness" You never really know what you are going to get until you pick them up, unlike other more generic sounding guitars. This F10 is hugely responsive, it will excite you and challenge you at the same time, inspiring you to play beyond what you're normally capable of. With a Cedar top and Mahogany back and sides it is somehow bright and mellow at the same time. The guitar is in very good condition, complete with pickup fitted and comes in it's original Hiscox hard case (Which has done its job as you can see - is still functional) Top: Cedar Back & Sides: Mahogany Back Wood: Mahogany Neck: 5-Piece Mahogany Fingerboard: Ebony Features: 20 Frets, Double Bound Body, Concentric Circle Rosette, Abalone Tuning Peg Buttons, Lowden Tuning Machines, Clear Pickguard Condition: This acoustic guitar is fantastic! Condition is very good and the guitar has just been restrung and set-up by a Lowden technician (Ex-employee). Given that this is a 15 year old guitar there is a little play wear (The very nature of top quality cedar). The top shows some very light scratching from where your finger would rest behind the bridge and a little mark just below the clear scratchplate. The rear bout also has one small lacquer "scar" which I have photographed. None of this detracts from the guitar in any way - but in the interests of the listing I am openly describing it as best as possible. The neck looks great and plays like a dream! The frets themselves look good with minimal wear - plenty of life left in them. This guitar really is fantastic. It plays and just feels right.
