Beautiful hand painted vintage entertainment unit/cupboard

A very beautiful cupboard, or TV unit/entertainment centre. The doors are hand painted in what looks to be a slightly Chinese green style, but it is also classic and elegant. This has been quite a statement piece in our home and we are only selling due to renovation demands. We have added small vintage Kenrick style casters, so it can easily be moved back and forth. There are a few scrapes commensurate with age - mainly around feet and on the lower side of unit. They add character, although I have been assured that these can easily be fixed up. Shabby chic upcycled hand painted dressing table

This is a lovely vintage piece of Lebus furniture which was sorely in need of some love and attention. It has been sanded,filled,cleaned and primed. It has had several coats of valspar eggshell paint, first in carousel purple and then in bottlefly wings which is a pale grey. It has then been carefully distressed to allow the lilac colour and the wood to come through. French style decals were then applied to the piece.Finally I have used polyvine wax finish varnish dead flat finish which will not yellow and gives the effect of waxing but with the protection of varnish. The mirror has been removed, the fittings resilvered and beautiful ceramic and beaded handles in the form of lilacs have been fitted. Inside the drawers have been lined with a Parisienne themed paper and this too has been sealed to ensure a wipe clean surface. For measurements see item specifics. This would be lovely in a bedroom but could equally be used as a display item in a shop /shop window From a smoke free home

Drawers unique upcycled vintage wooden painted grey lovely

This is a vintage wooden chest of drawers that has been sanded, primed and then painted in three coats Valspar Eggshell storm cloud grey to provide a durable finish they describe as scrubbable. The brass handles have been cleaned and given a light rub to bring out the detail but are the originals and stand out against the grey background. The level of details and craftsmanship on this piece lead us to believe that it would have cost plenty when purchased new.
