Beautiful, solid wooden dresser made about ten years ago by local craftsman. The dresser comes in two parts for ease of moving. It has three cupboards doors with glass windows which open to give access to the three shelves which go right across the width of the dresser without partition if that makes sense, three drawers and three large cupboards. The measurements are 194cm high, 155cm wide and 47cm deep. A couple of the cupboards need new handles but apart from that it is in excellent condition and very smooth to use. A beautiful hand made larder unit and a large matching cupboard and dresser/sideboard. The larder is made from new and reclaimed pine that has been half lapped and dovetailed, this is not a cheap flimsy unit that has been screwed together. It has a double wine/bottle rack on the bottom with a draw above. The top cupboard has 3 shelves and wooden racking on the inside of the doors. The cupboard has 2 large drawer's and a big cupboard underneath with a shelf, it has a waxed pine top. All the units are painted in a top quality cream eggshell with a lilac on the inside that makes it easy to wipe over and clean. The dresser/side board is a mix of oak and pine timber, the top half can be removed and has waxed shelves. The sideboard part has 2 drawer's and 2 large cupboards underneath, the top is a waxed pine. Welsh dresser in pine, Pine Welsh dresser, hand-made by a local wood carving/furniture making business (see picture of drawing). The wood was treated with the same varnish used at Hampton Court Palace, where the company used to restore and care for the Royal furniture. Dimensions: L 156cm H 196cm D48cm Difficult to show the real colour of the wood in the pictures, as they come out darker. So I have taken some while the sun was shining on it, which I am happy to forward.The dresser splits into 2 to carry: the heavier bottom half with drawers and storage, and the lighter top, linked together at the back. There are no deep marks nor scratches on the surface, only some signs of wear & tear on the inside of the big drawers, a chip on the bottom panel at floor level on the left hand side (see picture) and a small dent - both due to house move.
