Old sword stick, told it was a military swagger stick, it has a weighted steel bottom end, this was so the body of the stick could be used as a weapon in conjuction with the blade, the bamboo is golden bamboo with root ball end, this is the best of bamboo for sticks, no damage or cracks, the blade is 22inch with super sharp tanto point, there are markings to blade but have no Idea what they mean, fits together perfectly, no rattles, Join is virtually invisible

Hallmarked Walking CANE. 36". Horn/Sterling Silver/Ebony

This black walking stick in finely-textured ebony wood has a smooth finish. Ebony is considered valuable as an ornamental wood. It has come down through our family, though I am unsure as to its exact date. ORIGINS After reading & researching the hallmarks [JH anchor lion O] I think it could have been made in , in Birmingham, England. I could not swear to that though as I am no expert as regards sterling silver hallmarks. So if you interested in its history please do your due diligence on the trademarks. DETAILS Black ebony with signs of wear but no serious damage. Duke of Wellingtons Regiment swagger cane in Darwen

Original swagger stick / cane from the Duke of wellingtons Regiment Hindustan campaign. The pommel is silver but the marks have worn off the wood looks exotic fruit wood just over 27" long. I am estimating the stick is around 100 years old by the regiment crest if anyone knows different I'm open to learning.

Came with some ww1 medals, is a Japanese root ball handled, Japanese bladed sword cane, the blade is fullered and stamped with makers mark, 26inch, no rust or pitting beautiful flexible steel with tanto point, total length of stick 35 inch, has a collar shaped as a buckle, engraved victorian type, with R E Bond, fits together perfectly no gap no rattles, I put a new Ferrule on as it was missing, the cane itself has no splits cracks and walks perfect
