I have both seen and used these nose bands and they work brilliantly. I have used the noseband on an ID mare and had amazing results. I used it as I would normally use a bridal, and to be honest probably had better results. She responded so well to it, a touch of pressure and she would slow down or stop. I can even canter her in it, and have the response, and possible more response to her slowing down when I apply the pressure. Additional I recently backed my TBx with this nose band and he has ta{en to it so well. He responds really well, complies to the pressure and doesn’t play about. I believe used correctly, the nose band is an excellent piece of equipment. It teaches your horse to slow down/stop by pressure. It's simple to put on and takes any problems away that you may incur with a bit! It has changed my mind set about bits, and think I will be using the nose band more often than not. (lauren Fox & Rupert) > Ideal for youngsters, can be used before or instead of a bit. I have been using this on my youngster, it gives precise instruction through the nose band which was great in helping me teach steering. I have been using this throughout most of his training and he's doing brilliantly. This assists greatly in steering and braking, 2 of the most important things in training, applying pressure to give the instruction and then releasing to reward the horse for responding in the correct way. > Brilliant buy!
