  Vintage Habib Metal Industries New Design

Welcome to my auction for this very functional, and rather original vintage two tier tiffin carrier, all the way from India. Made from what feels like aluminium, the information stamped on are as follows; 'Made From Metal Manufacture Of Habib Metal Industries, Karachi-1-W.Pak'. 'Patented New Design Tiffin Carrier 10 x 2'. 'New Design Tiffin Carrier Regd.No. karachi-1'. It also has some other markings I don't recognize, though they are presumably some Indian dialect. As the photo's hopefully show, it is made up of two containers, one sitting on top of the other neatly, and acting like a lid, and the other with it's own lid. They then sit on the base of a completely separate bracket, that then closes over the top, securing them in place, with a lockable clasp, and a handy carry handle. The condition is overall very good, some small marks and minor dings, but otherwise, good, solid and useable. I have no idea of date for this, though a little research into the company would probably give some insight. Note to buyers: When Listing items I try to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions. If this is the case, please get in touch as soon as possible, so as to rectify the issue in a timely  and mutually satisfactory manner.
