8 year old weighs carrier. Was told he was a driving pony before he came to us. Is only for sale as my friends daughter has lost interest and he's being wasted in the field. Has lived in and out no problem. Has ridden through heavy traffic,with dogs at foot and up mountains. Would make ideal leadrein for some child and can then come off the rein. Never bucks or rears and as for bolting lol he's such a plod even his canter is slow!! Loves being brushed and will stand all day. I'm looking for a sharer for my little gem of a pony. he has recently been backed so still green in areas but an extremely willing and fast learning pony. he has established walk, trot and canter (although canter is still a bit unbalanced) also pops a jumps with a good ping to him:-) he is also good to hack, very straight and forward. Murphy (Murphys Half Pint) is a 13hh piebald cob gelding. Hes 4 years old however don’t be put off by his age! He has been ridden by experienced riders to being on and off the leadrein for children who have never even sat on a horse. This pony gives you so much confidence when you’re on board, never reared or bucked. Good to hack alone or in company, when in company he will go in front or behind never nappy. Ive hacked Murphy along main roads, in open fields and around the local forests. Hes got 3 nice paces, he is more forward when out however not silly or strong. Hes got a nice little jump and Ive competed him cross country and showjumping.- I’ve never had a refusal from this pony. Murphy will turn his hoof to anything! Fully up to date with everything. We are looking for a part time loaner for our special boy, to be kept on our yard, he is 5 years old and standing approx 14.3 h at the moment, he is a ride and drive, good in traffic, vet, dentist and farrier, good to catch and stands lovely to be bathed and groomed, he rides out in company or alone and worked more hacking out rather than the school, so would require some work in the arena, he is green being a young boy but tries so very hard to please! He can be strong and being so young he will require a knowledgeable loaner who can bring him to his full potential. We have great facilities at the yard including indoor arena and fantastic hacking around marsden, slaithwaite and south crosland all close by! Piebald Cob Gelding 13hh in Huddersfield

Lovely coloured chunky cob gelding 13hh. Plenty of feather and one blue eye. Hacks out alone and in company. Bombproof with cars and motorbikes. Is currently on a farm and is good with tractors, farm machinery, sheep, dogs etc. Not done much schooling as just a happy hacker at the moment. Is broken to drive but I haven't tried. Good to catch, box, travel, mount etc. Barefoot. Up to date with vaccinations and passported. No vices and is too gentle to bite or kick. He's a kick along plod type although he's green due to his age. Would make a fantastic lead rein/childs pony with more experience or now for a confident teenager/lightweight adult. Not a childs pony at the moment as he's young. Would probably benefit from more hacking out in company and alone although he does like to lead. Hacked out by my mum who is 73. Will live out 24/7 or is fine in the stable. Is no problem to turn out with other horses as he's not dominant. The unflappable type. Has kids playing ball and riding toys round him and he's unphased by loud noises. Comes with 2 rugs, bridle, bit and headcollar. Sorry no saddle. I've been working on desensitising him to things like wheelie bins, washing lines, lawn mowers, mowing machines, plastic bags, quads etc so he would benefit from more schooling and just bringing on a bit. Only for sale as he's sadly too small. 5* home only please and no dealers as he's a very genuine boy who deserves a good home. No timewasters and no loans.
