For sale is a Vox V15 twin tube 60w guitar amplifier. Made in England Great for achieving that classic Vox sound at a low volume making it perfect for recording and practice. Very similar to an ac15 but with two ten inch speakers. In terms of tubes it features two ECC83, one ECC81, and and two EL-84 tubes. Had this amp for a few years now and has never let me down. Has proved very useful in recording situations for getting a great vintage clean tone but also handles gain pedals/ effects much better than most acs I've tried making it quite versatile. Laney Linebacker 65 Reverb Guitar combo /amp Laney solid state Linebacker 65 Reverb. Made in England – Tony Iommi of of Black Sabbath used ‘em! This is a ’s, thirty year old skool cool kickass amp, that works perfectly and sounds great. Getting hard to find too! 65watts of subtle power through a 12” Celestion G12M-70 and of course featuring a proper big sounding spring reverb tank! This amp has two separate channels, A and B, each with gain and volume and with bass, mid and treble controls. Channel A has the addition of pull to boost knobs on the gain and tone controls. There are three input sockets, A, B, and Mix. The latter allowing A, B, or both, controlled by the Marshal modified foot switch which also controls Reverb On/Off. The gain on channel A, when pulled out takes it from overdrive to full saturated distortion. There are three additional rotaries which give overall control of both A and B channels being, Reverb, Presence, and Master volume. The richness of tone is outstanding, warm yet clear sounds very much like my much more expensive valve combo. Turning up the gain a little introduces a subtle level of overdrive, reminiscent of a hard driven little valve powered combo, without any hint of harshness. Channel A with the 'push to boost' controls on this channel means that there are sonic possibilities to suit all tastes. And then you can mix both channels! This amp is LOUD! I bought this beautiful guitar straight from the Newtownards Factory, where it was hand built, in November . I had a Fishman Ellipse Blend pickup, microphone and pre-amp installed before delivery (£400 extra). The guitar was purchased to replace my beautiful little Avalon S32 because I wanted the fuller sound that the bigger body delivered (my son has an L32C, an older version of the same guitar). Unfortunately, although the sound is sublime, I find that the guitar is just a bit too big for me to play comfortably and so have decided to stick to the beloved S32 and reluctantly part with this beauty. The quality of materials used, and the superb craftsmanship will probably mean that this is the last guitar you’ll ever want or need.
