Guatemalan spiny tailed iguana babies

These iguanas have become quite rare in their country of origin and are fairly hard to get hold of in Britain and Europe, where they are popular and are very occasionally bred in captivity. As they are juveniles they are vivid green but as they mature they gain white/gray/black banding and possible speckles. Adult males are between 2ft-3ft in full length and adult females tend to stay at approximately 1.5ft. These can be lovely pets if hand reared patiently from babies, I did this with mine and they take any opportunity to come out the vivarium to sit on my lap or shoulder. As babies they primarily eat small insects but as they grow they tend to eat lots of veg and still enjoy the occasional insect. Full Advert Details I have for sale 2 Unsexed Spiny Tailed Ackie Monitors that are 24 weeks old. One of them is 24g, while the other is 31g. They have both been checked over by a vet before sale and had a stool sample taken that has come back all clear. Both have got small marks on the tails that the vet thought were constriction marks, but will not effect them in the future.
