Both plates measure approx 28.5cm wide and 2cm deep max. Both have slightly fluted edges. Both have very few very light surface scratches indicative of use. The Balmoral Castle plate has very slight age-related crazing. Otherwise both are in very good vintage pre-owned used condition. 1 soup/cereal/dessert bowl: by W H Grindley & Co Ltd, Staffordshire, England and is part of the Country Style pattern/series, featuring an illustration of a thatched cottage at the end of a lane/track with trees. Grindley Cream Petal Fluted Milk/ Cream Jug

A lovely floral milk/cream jug from around the the mid 's to mid 's. It was made by Grindley and C/o of Staffordshire. It is 8cms tall and 9 cms wide and holds approx 1/2 pint. It has guilt edging around the base and top rim. Unfortunately some of the guilt has worn away on the top rim due to age. VINTAGE Grindley Laburnum Leaf Petal Yellow Eight Piece Tea Set. It's rare to find the set of it. Usually for sale are some pieces of it like teapot only or saucer only either cups and saucers only. I saw teapot and jug only were sold for £45. Here I offer a bargain price. These are very charming Teapot, two cups, two saucers, one plate, sugar bowl, milk jug of pastel/pale yellow and green colour. Great addition to your kitchen dresser and afternoon tea. All are in excellent condition, except milk jug. Milk jug has got small crack at the top part,but only at the top part - therefore it could still be used for milk. Otherwise, there are no chips, crazing, scratches or cracks on them. They look like not used at all. Cups and sugar bowl don't have any markings. Other pieces are with markings of Laburnum Leaf Petal Grindley and the sailboat mark on them. This 'sailboat" pottery mark was used from . It is from the Grindley factory of Staffordshire in England. Dimensions: Teapot -- tall 11 cm Cups --- 7 cm, diameter 8 cm All queries are welcome.
