Great all round guitar for rock, rockabilly, country, blues and even jazz. Owned from new by me () and in beautiful condition. Upgraded with the essential TV Jones Classics filtertron pickups (£250). They make a huge difference to clarity, growl and tone compared to the fitted Gretsch pickups. I customised the pickup surrounds to make them match the chrome better. Figured rosewood board and the action is spot on. Although it's a real player's guitar it's unmarked. Great set up and the workmanship exceeds that of MIM Fenders and Epiphones. It has tone post bracing so more is a bit more hollow sounding than some of the pro guitars (imho!) which is cool. You're welcome to come and try it out in Thorpe, NR7. Apart from that it has either been either hanging in my music room or living in a gig bag. The only marks are two dings on the back edge one at the top and one at the bottom (they are somewhat disguised by the sparkle finish). Other than that it is extremely clean. This pickup is an accurate reproduction of an early pre-Ernie Ball Music Man pickup. It uses the same wire, the same magnets, and has the same DC resistance.
