Grays GR Dynabow Composite Hockey Stick
Fully integrated carbon / aramid / graphene formulae mix Featuring new AR Durazone heel protection Featuring new PP Enhanced LBZ IFA on face of head surface New Twintex grip Dynabow blade profile GR Graphene Range Leading the 2nd generation of hockey stick technology Graphene Enhanced Technology Grays latest hi-tech stick development features the introduction of graphene in our new GR range. Graphene is a high-performance form of carbon, which has a microscopic thickness making it one of the thinnest yet strongest new generation materials. Our precise layup composition within each stick in the GR range has been formulated using the unique properties of this innovative material. The new Graphene Enhanced Technology creates a unique combination of powerful energy transfer when hitting, and shock absorbing properties for added feel and response. We have added the Improved Feel Area to the range for even greater feel and performance, as well as the new Abrasion Resistant Durazone heel area, and PrePreg Enhanced low backhand zone. Grays inspiration for the GR range has come from their desire to: Maximise the performance and durability of our composite sticks using the very latest in hi-tech materials and manufacturing techniques Improve the energy transfer to the ball from the player’s swing; to enable the best possible skills on the pitch Increase the stick’s feel and response in close control, stopping and dribbling By introducing these hi-tech features, Grays are able to offer players the latest cutting edge technology. Player Benefits Greater core stability and energy transfer when hitting Increased performance and durability of the stick Improved feel and handling response AR Durazone Abrasion Resistant Durazone The new Grays AR (Abrasion Resistant) Durazone has been introduced to reduce the effect of abrasive synthetic pitches on the heel area of the stick. The specially formulated mix of abrasion-resistant composite materials are positioned to help maintain the stick’s exterior surface, and prolong the playing characteristics. PP Enhanced LBZ PrePreg Enhanced Zone The new PP Enhanced zone has been introduced to strengthen and improve the performance of the low backhand area of the stick. The specially formulated combination of fracture-resistant resin and impact resistant fibres are positioned to give improved performance consistency whether shooting at goal, passing or dribbling. Dynabow Blade Profile The highly popular "Dynabow" blade profile is shaped with a curve positioned down the blade at 25cm from the base of the head – The combination of a rounder lower hand profile and uniform rounder rear blade profile help to provide excellent handling qualities as well as excellent energy transfer when hitting and drag flicking. Used and preferred by leading German international player Thilo Stralkowski, Korea’s Mi Hyun Park and many more. Dynabow will help players to: Optimum profile for both technical play, flicking and dribbling skills Improves "sling" momentum when executing the drag flick technique Rounder rear blade profile provides stable energy transfer when hitting Helps "extend the reach zone" over which you can dribble the ball freely using both forehand and backhand Rounded lower handle profile allows hands to rotate freely to enhance dribbling and 3D skills ERH Energy Reduction Handle The Energy Reduction Handle is designed to reduce the impact energy transmitted from the head of the stick through the blade and hands wrists and forearms. The thermo-rubber sleeve around the handle helps to improve the players control and feel when both hitting and receiving, which improves a player’s first touch on the ball. IFA Improved Feel Area The IFA absorbs the initial ball contact with the surface of the stick head and provides a softer feel. Our special combination of shock absorbing aramid and fibreglass fibres improves first touch control and creates a better feel. The textured finish helps give more grip and control of the ball, particularly on water based surfaces.
