17 inch narrow fit black English leather GP saddle by I B Andrews Saddlery, Walsall.  Padded knee rolls, thigh rolls, spring tree, cut back.  Very slight superficial scuff mark on cantle, otherwise very good condition and stitching all sound.  Complete with stirrup leathers and 5" stainless steel irons with rubber treads. Brown English made GP  by Barrie Swain. British standard on the stirrup bar and serial number stamped on the plate.  Very comfy. With a full french serge panel with quilting on the sweatflap. Good knee block. Scrumph hide on the seat and knees. Good all round saddle - would look equally neat in the show ring for WH. Measures just over 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures a good 8" across the dee's. This is a nice medium fit. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of  use. Nice wool flocked panels are soft and even. Beautiful leather quality, soft and supple throughout. Has a small repair to the underside of the panel where the serge has worn slightly - not seen or felt in use. Please see pic. Pics really do not do this saddle justice. 17 inch Medium GP saddle

This is a brown general purpose saddle made in England. It is second hand but in good condition, restuffed and fully oiled March . I bought it second hand for my horse but it does not quite fit him (he is a medium/wide cob) so I have used it once (very comfy for the rider) and had it restuffed in Malmesbury. Viewing possible, as is trial (if full deposit left). I have stored it inside but there are a couple of old surface marks where it has been stored outside previously. Please ask any questions.
