1 Yr Old Black Male Cat - Free to Very Good Home

Genuine reason for rehoming our lovely male cat - he requires a sensitive diet (grain free), we have two cats and 1 dog in total so it is very difficult to keep him away from the other food sources. The other cat will not eat if she's in isolation and vice versa. So we feel it is best for him to go to a home where his needs can be met adequately. He is incredibly gentle, he never swipes or acts aggressively and is extremely tolerant of young children (we have a 3 year old). We are looking for a new home for our lovely 1 year old black male cat. (Recently castrated so has been vet checked). Sheldon joined us 2 years ago - but sadly, due to us relocating, he'll now need a new 'forever home'. Sheldon, 'Shelley' was named prior to coming to us. He'll be around 5 years old in the summer & has a lot of life in him yet. He has a good nature and can happily live with other pets and children. He's been used to dogs, cats, and giant pheasants where we live(!) - and hasn't worried about any of them. He's happiest when lazing about in bed or in the sun in the garden (he doesn't wander far). We're sure he'd love a cat-loving family who would give him more time than we can. Once he's used to you, he'll sit on your lap and purr contentedly. He can be a bit nervous with new people at first (just for a while) - when we first brought him home, he hid under the sofa for the most part of two days! Obviously, he gave up in the end and became a good family cat, full of character. We suspect we have a neighbour somewhere who has started feeding him treats, as he's put a little bit of weight on - and he's not been getting more from us. Unless he's suddenly become a stealthy hunter (though he can be a pretty good 'mouser' when he feels like it). He looks even better when he's not being overfed! Hopefully, you'll not have the same issue. He has been neutered and is regularly treated with Frontline Spot-on (the only flea treatment that works where we live) and is flea & worm free. He has a microchip that you'll need to have changed at the vets. If you think you'd like a Sheldon, and can give him the love he deserves, please do get in touch. He's free!

I am really sad to have to rehome my Charlie. I've had him since he was 8 weeks old and he's now 3 he's a house cat and has grown up with young children and a dog.
