Toby is an 9 year old dog who is chipped and neutered. He is looking for a good home due to a family split and his current owner being unable to care for him. He is a lovely dog, friendly with other dogs but not small animals. He loves people and wants company a lot of the time although he can be left alone for short periods without any problems. He gets very excited when going out for a walk and it a very strong dog. He will pull on the lead on the way out because he can't wait to get there, but is quieter on the way back! He is food and toy oriented, he loves a ball and will fetch, sit, give his paw, lie down and roll, sit, beg and sometimes 'dance'. He is eager to please. He enjoys his chews and has a habit of lying with a soft toy in his mouth making a crying noise, but he is actually quite happy! He is very energetic, muscular athletic but will also settle down and sleep during quiet times. If you are perhaps retired with time to spend walking and playing, Toby would be an ideal companion. a home check will be carried out.
