Rory is a 7 year old collie/Retriever mix. She is small to medium sized and absolutely gorgeous. This girl has the eyes and soul of a puppy and is a complete joy to be around. Rory is very friendly and loves a fuss, she is good with dogs but can be jealous with attention, however this is easily redirected and she has been living quite happily with dogs without problems. Rory was rescued in an appalling condition but now has a clean bill of health, do not let the fact that this girl is 7 put you off, she has a lot of love left to offer. Raven is a striking 1 year old lab x Collie looking for a forever home to call her own. She is jet black with stunning bright blue eyes. She is such a happy vibrant girl who is super friendly, good with dogs and good with cats. She is very smart and learns things exceptionally quickly and is a real foodie so super easy to train. She has been no problem at all whilst in foster. She came in quite bad condition but is slowly regaining weight and condition. Ravens new owners will need to be aware of an old injury she has. She was hit by a car and not treated at the time of the accident which caused the injury to heal incorrectly and fuse. Our vets have signed this off with no problem at all; it does not cause her pain but does cause her to walk with an uneven gait. So she would not be suited to agility work or other strenuous activities but will do just fine with regular walking and exercise. Fleur is a 6 year old Cocker spaniel x collie who came into rescue alongside her Mum and her brother after they were taken out of a kennel facility where they have spent their whole lives. Fleur and her brother Thistle were born there and have never known life outside of those bars, so not surprisingly she’s finding everything a little overwhelming right now. Fleur is very sweet natured, calm and quiet. She has been over shadowed by her Mum and her brother who were much more dominant characters so is a shy fragile little girl who needs owners who will teach her all about life and help her build her own confidence. She is good with dogs and would benefit living with another one to show her the way. She doesn’t understand boundaries with food as her and the other dogs have shared all their food so will need to be fed separate from other dogs Incase she gets herself bitten. She is not food aggressive at all and can’t fathom why nobody wants to share with her. She is also non reactive to cats. Fleur is deceptively tiny, not much bigger than a JRT. Our vet affectionately says “she’s been shrunk in the wash.” She is very friendly with people but can be a little shy at first.
