ANTIQUE GLASS TOPPED COFFEE TABLE ON BRASS BASE

VERY LOVELY ANTIQUE COFFEE OR OCCASIONAL TABLE WITH BRASS BASE AND BEVEL EDGED GLASS TOP. THE HEXAGONAL TOP IS 41" The height of the brass base is 15.5", Its a square heavy base which measures 24.5" on each side. The glass top lays on the square, very heavy bevelled glass, I would think its toughened. THIS HAS COME FROM THE ESTATE OF A LATE RELATIVE AND I AM LED TO BELIEVE ITS 20'S OR 30'S. ITS IN LOVELY CONDITION, ALTHO THE BRASS COULD DO WITH A POLISH (I HAVENT HAD TIME) ITS,A VERY HEAVY ITEM AND WOULD HAVE TO BE COLLECTED. THE GLASS IS THICK AND WITH A BEVELLED EDGE. THERE IS ONE VERY TINY 'FLEABITE' ON THE EDGE BUT TOO SMALL TO SHOW IN A PHOTO - YOU HAVE TO LOOK FOR IT. THE BRASS BASE IS ALSO HEAVY, I CAN ONLY JUST LIFT IT. ITS A BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF FURNITURE AND I WOULD LOVE TO KEEP IT, BUT WE JUST DONT HAVE ROOM - IT'S IN THE STABLE AT MOMENT. Read More
