Beautiful les Paul with original Gibson hard case (white fur) and MinEtune. This version also has push/pull coil splitting option so you can play as single coil pick ups. Comes with all original paperwork and Gibson certificate of authenticity. I've even got the original Gibson branded cardboard shipping box so you can have the full package. No fret wear or buckle rash, but starting to see some slight discolouration in paint at the normal playing area which is common with nitro finish (see last pic). Just adds to the mojo! This is a Gibson Les Paul Studio that I have owned since new. Bought in August . Don't go comparing this guitar to the Studio that you saw in your local guitar exchange at the weekend. This is a different kettle of fish altogether. The s were the best era for Gibson quality since the early '60s and these guitars are rightly sought-after. The quality is more akin to, often even exceeding, a modern Les Paul Standard or Custom. That's no exaggeration. Read up on these. Solid mahogany, with a solid maple cap and a flawless ebony fingerboard. You can't even get real ebony on a Les Paul Custom nowadays. That's how far standards have dropped at Gibson compared to the s. This one, being almost a quarter of a century old, has some of the classic wear that is associated with Gibson Les Pauls. There is some sweet yellowing of the trapezoid inlays and a gorgeous lacquer checking that runs across the body. From a distance it doesn't really show, but up close and under light it creates this fantastic 'cracked mirror' effect. Importantly, none of the body checking has exposed wood, so you get all the cool looks without it appearing tatty up close. People pay HUNDREDS of pounds extra to get this kind of appearance on a new guitar. This is all natural. One tiny ding on the edge of the body that no-one will notice (I think it was there for months before I did). '59 neck profile. Chrome hardware all in excellent condition. Weighs just over 9lbs and has not been subjected to the horrors of the modern 'chambering' that Gibson has been performing since late . Has had a recent pro setup, with full fret level and dress. Gibson USA Les Paul Studio with Hard Case and Upgraded Pickups

Excellent condition and with upgrades and case, this is a USA-made LP studio in faded brown. It's got a nice 50s-style neck, excellent fretwork and nut and excellent hardware. Body and neck are mahogany, cap is maple and fretboard is baked maple. Finish is super thin so a couple of small knocks on the mahogany back (tried to picture)but headstock, maple front and neck all perfect. Comes with strap and excellent quality Epi hardcase. I've completely gutted the insides and installed CTS 500k pots, switchcraft toggle and jack, orange drop.022 caps and Gibson Historic/Custom Shop Burstbucker 1 & 2 humbucking pickups (alnico 2 magnets). I've also replaced the black plastic parts with high quality cream/vintage accurate parts (wasn't a cheap upgrade at all!!). Basically, this is as good as a Studio Faded can get. It's unfortunate that I'm just not a Gibson man - will be sticking to jazzmasters and teles from now on. Any viewings or questions welcome. Ad ID:
