Beautiful and great sounding Gibson SG Standard electric guitar, made in Gibson's Kalamazoo factory, Nashville, USA in . Mahogany solid body in 'Heritage Cherry' colour finish with white binding on the rosewood neck. Headstock has mother of pearl 'Gibson' logo and 'crown' inlay. Has the classic 490R/498T pickup set with chrome covers, with individual tone & volume controls. Nashville Tune-O-Matic chrome bridge and tail piece. Everything looks all original with no modifications. In pretty good condition for a guitar this age with few minor dings. Sale includes the original 'Gibson USA' branded hard case. Gibson USA SG Special Electric Guitar Up for grabs is my SG special in worn cherry finish. Purchased from guitar guitar, Birmingham, at the beginning of the year for £549! Has a few light marks and dinks. Not through any type if mistreatment though, these guitars mark so easily due to them not having the hard lacquered finish. The guitar has never been gigged, infact i've probably only played it about 30 times since i bought it. Needless to say it is in all original condition, frets are in perfect condition, electrics all work as they should and it comes complete with its Gibson case and all tags and books etc. Moving it on to fund another purchase, someone will get a great little axe here at a fraction of the price I paid for it aswell! A very reluctant sale, a great guitar. It's very nicely played in, has a lovely neck, It has been gigged so therefore has a few scratches and dents, but it's only superficial and doesn't affect anything beyond the appearance of the back of the guitar. I've tried to show this in the pics. It's the classic colour and finish for an SG (cherry). It's lovely to play, and it can do lovely sweet tones and fantastic ballsy overdriven tones with the retro fitted seymour duncan 59 pick-ups. Gibson SG guitar standard

For sale is a near immaculate condition Gibson SG in classic cherry red. I've been lucky enough to own this guitar since new and has been cherished and cared for ever since including regular set ups and uncompromising storage. Original tan hard shell case is included. The guitar plays fantastically as with all Gibsons from this era with minimal fret wear and a great feeling neck. All the Gibson tones and sustain you would expect all makes this a great sounding guitar. For the body size the guitar is incredibly resonant even unplugged. There are a few small dings in the back which I have shown in the last pic, but these are very minor, the top is in pretty much perfect condition. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, or further pics etc I am in no rush to sell so no silly offers please. Any viewings are strongly encouraged. This guitar will soon be a classic but family circumstances, space and time dictate that I need to pass the guitar on to someone who can play it and enjoy it more than I am currently able to. I'm selling my electric guitar as I never play it any more! It's a Gibson SG clone, I think Japanese made. Needs a bit of love as it's been unplayed for a while, the pots are a bit scratchy, but the pickups work fine and it makes a decent sound. And the strings are Ernie ball and still in good condition.
