This is only going up for this week and these rarely come up this cheap absolute steal for someone who knows what they're doing, I'm selling my first year alder Gibson ripper bass and only odd made in ebony that year all original bar the truss rod cover and has a fitted hard case needs some TLC the pickups aren't wired and need wiring back but I've had it working and it's a beast proper roadworn as to expect with a 42 year old players guitar but is beautiful, sold as seen if it don't sell this week I'll save up and fix her up £750 can ship for shipping costs:) Proper steal for someone who knows what they're doing no trades unless you happen to have another Ripper, vintage grabber G1 or a black Ricky jetglo Ad ID:

Gibson Ripper

Just putting this out there to see what the interest might be. I've had this bass around 2 years and it's been brilliant but I haven't been using it for a while as I have gone to a late 60's early 70's Fender jazz and looking to get a precision bass to compliment. The only things that I can find wrong with it at the minute is that on the chicken head switch only 3 of the positions work but I'm led believe that this is a wiring issue and I'm in the process of getting it looked at, and it has had the through body string option filled in (professionally by the looks of it) Anyway here are some pics of it, it comes with the case (its is a epiphone case that I had for a Jack Cassidy I sold but kept the case and it fits it lovely) The serial number is (that what it looks like, on then picture you can see the clearly but next to the 0 you can just make out a number that looks like a 3) I have attached a picture of a search I did on the serial number. Also under the machine heads you can clearly see the Made in USA stamp. looking around £ mark but willing to negotiate. Not in any hurry to let it go but if you want any info just get in touch.
