*Limited Edition* Gibson Les Paul Standard Guitar - Pacific Reef - - Original Hard Case

Something a little bit special here... It's a top spec Gibson Les Paul Standard Limited Edition. Made in the USA in - as a limited run of only 275 guitars globally. Very rare and finished in the absolutely stunning 'Pacific Reef' colour (which is a flamed green finish which can look quite blue in some light) - and it sounds just incredible with its '57 Classic' pickups. This is a true, full-fat rock machine and everything you would want a classic Gibson to be. Very good condition for a 14 year old guitar (i'd say 9 out of 10) - a few very minor blemishes, but nothing serious or that would put anyone off the guitar. The top of the range limited edition spec includes a stunning flamed maple top, stunning (and fairly rare nowadadys) ebony neck, white body binding, and trapezoid inlays etc. It has a 50s neck spec profile - However, I've owned own many Les Pauls and this neck is not like some 50s baseball bats but not as thin as some 60s. (I'd say its certainly somewhere between the two -and is lovely and comfortable). I'll also include a free strap and straplocks in with the deal. Original snakeskin hard case included - in excellent condition Has had a full professional set-up and plays with a nice action. Hate to sell this but needs must. Amazing Les Paul, stunning look, fantastic tone and great playability. A limited edition run with 275 made worldwide. This is number 119 Ebony fretboard with the custom style headstock. The fretboard is brilliant just love the feel of the ebony neck. Full weighty beast. With hard case. A little buckle rash but expected for age. If you are a fan, a little added bonus is the back plate is signed by Nalle Colt from vintage trouble. If not, then easy to change out. Won't find a much better example of a Les Paul imo, this is it. Sold an N4, JP, PRS, 339 and this is the only one I am truly gutted about. £ won't take anything less. Possible trade for another guitar in the ballpark with cash my way for the reminder but I have become fussy with guitars

Hi there, For sale is a Gibson Les Paul Studio from , built in Nashville, USA. Superb example of a 20 year old Les Paul studio in stunning wine red finish. This is the gold edition which features gold hardware rather than the more common chrome. Overall, the guitar is in fantastic condition for its age with one or two minor dings as shown in the pictures - these are to the rear and near bottom side at the strap button, both are not visible when playing the guitar. Built quality on this is second to none. Made in an era when Gibson took more care about things and this is reflected when compared to the newer versions. These are very desirable examples. Typical Gibson construction: Solid one piece mahogany body with carved maple top and set mahogany neck. As I said before, this is old school Gibson quality so there's None of this modern 'weight relief' garbage - the thing weighs an absolute ton and offers great sustain. The 22 fret mahogany set neck has a lovely rosewood fret board with pearloid inlays as standard on LP's. Frets are nice and level with many years of playing left in them - there no need for any re-fretting any time soon! Pickups are the Gibson hot ceramic set - 496R in the neck, 498T in the bridge. They give much more bite than vintage PAF's or modern Burstbuckers but are versatile for all playing styles. I'd say it's a solid 8/10, especially for its age with no excessive damage. The headstock cap is pristine and not cracked/weathered like is common with LP's as time go's on. Hardware has light tarnishing as to be expected. Original black pickguard is included. Comes with a genuine Gibson custom shop case with purple velvet interior included, these are circa £180 alone. Prices to sell. You'll struggle to get one of these with a case for any less than £600 and modern Studio's of lesser quality are around £900 in stores. I'm open to offers or part ex plus cash my way, let me know what you've got to offer. I'd be interested in Ibanez RG's/Iron label's and Fenders - USA only or anything Jim Root Fender. Gentlemen, set your faces to 'Stunned'. Here we have a magnificent Gibson Les Paul Standard from . It's more than a quarter of a century old, with all the classic Gibson brilliance that you expect from that era. Comes in Heritage Cherry Sunburst and it's big, brilliant and, importantly, unchambered. It's got THAT look and THAT sound. Has a few marks here and there, as you'd expect. However, it's clearly lived a privileged life of luxury, with only a couple of minor dings here and there. The most significant is pictured: A tiny indentation on the back of the neck that you absolutely do not feel while playing (look at it compared to my skinny finger to see how small it is). Had a recent pro setup, including complete fret levelling and crowning. Case is rock solid and has that old-style thick shroud that is more like a blanket. The combination lock doesn't work, but if that surprises you then you've never seen a Gibson case before! Also the restraining strap could use glueing or stapling if you actually care about that. I don't, so I've never bothered. Basically, you don't get a Les Paul Standard near this good if you buy new. Collection from Southampton. Best guitar I've ever had, great tone and holds tuning like nothing else. A really crisp tone and that real signature sound. Can sustain like Nigel Tuffnel and get some real good heavy deeper tones. Very versatile depending on your set up. This was last set up a year ago by a professional guitar tech. Pictures are shown with Bareknuckle nail bomb installed at the bridge but I will put the original gibson humbucker back in for the sale. I play mainly semi-acoustic these days so I'm selling this guitar to fund another project. It's a Standard with a flame maple top and cherry mahogany solid body (no chambers). Serial number is . It's in lovely condition and very playable with a 60s style tapered neck. The only sign of any wear is on the bridge but that does not detract from the appearance. It is 12 years old and has been played extensively with good care. It comes with a Gibson hard case (combination lock never used)and is all original with no customisation. The scratchplate is included but has never been fitted as I thought it looked better without. I'm reluctant to sell this guitar but I can't really justify keeping it any longer. It should go where it will be used and appreciated. I'll consider all sensible offers but I'm selling for cash on collection only. I'm not interested in trades.
