Lovely top spec Gibson from , none of your faded job here, poss the best you will find, has neck binding and mother of pearl Gibson logo, in like new condition, only has two small bits of buckle rash on the back..Looks much darker than in the pics, more wine red, I don't have the hardcase for this but do have a Gibson padded gig bag for it, I would recommend that any buyer gets a hardcase if gigging with it, I have a lot of similar type guitars and am looking to scale down to one humbucker and one single coil and maybe one other, so will swap for a Fender tele deluxe, the one with the binding and weight relief gut cut, Rickenbacker or poss a les paul standard normal or DC, or PX for a Burns Nusonic (old one) or a gretch with a whammy bar, or poss any decent amps, mesa etc..dont miss your chance for a vintage Gibson... For sale is my lovely Gibson USA Les Paul Standard Double Cutaway in Trans Charcoal and as you can see it is a lovely example with the AAA grade flame top. The overall condition is very good throughout with just one scratch on the upper bout worthy of mention (as shown in the pic, although I did use a flash to make it more obvious, and as reflected in the price). It plays and sounds superb and is also all original with no repairs. Comes with the original Gibson hard case. All the hardware and frets are in very good condition with little wear, the neck is nice and straight and has just been restrung and set up. Your guitar was made at the Nashville Plant, TN, USA on February 4th, Production Number: 106 The guitar was stripped back to its mahogany finish several years back. It was originally a crappy red if some sort and looked lame in my opinion. Now it has the aged natural look. Mid position only gives out of phase sound as magnet has been flipped...easy to put back if wanted but makes this position more usable in my opinion. Upgraded locking tuners, grovers. Change string in a breeze. Has some knocks and buckle rash but the overall look is classic. Tailpiece and bridge upgraded. Volume pots are abit crackly but nothing switch cleaner or a can of air wont fix Comes with hardcase. Bit of fret wear but lots of life left in them Really nice feel to the guitar an sounds great.
