Gibson Les Paul VOS R8 Heritage Cherry Wash

You are looking at a Rare Gibson Les Paul VOS in Heritage Cherry Wash finish. It comes in original velour case. The guitar has been modified to include a Fishman Power Bridge Piezo system which gives the sound of an acoustic guitar when required. This means the wiring has been adapted to house this system within the guitars original controls. These alterations were carried out by a professional guitar technician and sounds extremely authentic. Unfortunately through use it has a couple of small marks on the body and a small amount of buckle rash on the reverse of the body (please see photos). From the Gibson website: "The Les Paul Reissue VOS (Vintage Original Spec) Electric Guitar from the Gibson Custom Shop has the great features, tone, and looks that made the original '58 Les Paul a classic, but with a plain top for "workhorse" comfort and feel. Features a maple top, mahogany back, and one-piece set-in mahogany neck with rounded '50s neck profile, nickel plated hardware, and an original ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge. The Gibson Burstbucker Pickups used are historically accurate "Patent Applied For" replicas with an airy tone and unbalanced coils. A medium output Burstbucker 1 is used in the neck position, while the Burstbucker 2 in the bridge position has a slightly hotter output. Both have unpolished magnets and non-potted coils like the original "Patent Applied For" pickups. It’s in great condition and as it came out of the factory – no mods. It features Gibson’s lovely Custombucker pickups, which I really like. The original hard case, certificate of authenticity and tags are all included. The guitar weighs about 8.5lb and sounds glorious. The neck is a comfortable 'C' shape - a little more refined than the older '59 reissues. The action is about 1.5mm on the low E and 1mm at the high E (12th fret), with no buzz at all.
