There are guitars which are great and then there are Kings of the great guitars, and this is most certainly a King of Gibson's J45's. Serial number: A few particulars of this guitar: It is confirmed by Gibson (documented) that this beautiful sunburst J45 is in fact from but was most probably from reaching in to ,This is evidenced by the pre- 'single X bracing pattern'. The next interesting factor with this guitar is that the centre of the bracing is about 2.1cm from the sound hole - very close, which is allowing for the most wonderful bass tonal quality. The guitar is crack and damage free, other than the road worn condition, which for me is awesome! The sunburst on this guitar is the best...i mean the best! The inside of the guitar is very clean indeed. The guitar is all original except for: pick guard, nut, tuners and pins. Everything else is as it was when it rolled out the plant in Montana. Most importantly the adjustable bridge is original. I really do invite you to come along and try this stunning Gibson guitar - you will not be disappointed at all!! Gibson J45 Acoustic Custom Guitar

This is my Custom Gibson J45 Acoustic Guitar, it has an Abalone and Mother of pearl floral headstock design with a Mother of Pearl Gibson inlay, it also has a mahogany neck and Rosewood finger board which also has Abalone diamond inlays, the top is a AA Sitka spruce top with a rosewood back. The tuners are Grover tuners and it has L.R. Baggs pickups................oh go and check out the website, this instrument is awesome, the only reason i am selling it is that i have fallen in love with electric again and this just doesn't get used. Gibson J45 TV (True Vintage)

This J-45 TV (True vintage) is in very good condition, only a few light pickguard marks and some reddening of the finish on the lower bout probably where the colour from my shirt has marked it. I have tried to show this in the photos but it hasn't come out very well as it is only very subtle. The guitar is structurally sound and there has not been any strap buttons /pick-ups fitted to it. It comes with the original case and paperwork. This guitar was made with similar spec to when the guitar was first introduced in , the top is Adirondack red spruce with custom vintage top bracing and back and sides constructed from pattern-grade Honduras mahogany. One of the standout features of the True Vintage series is the use of hide glue in the construction of the guitar. Almost all other Gibson acoustics are built using synthetic glue as opposed to hide glue. Almost all players and luthiers agree that hide glue is the superior form of adhesive for guitar construction. Hide glue allows the guitar to vibrate more freely and produce a greater volume and tone. Vintage guitars were constructed with hide glue, but it's not common anymore.Please contact me in email right now for more photos and details.

Gibson J-45 (J45 J 45).

A very special guitar. The original owner gigged it heavily in the s and s, then it was eventually acquired by a guy who was more into jazz guitars, and so I bought it from him. It obviously took a few knocks in the early days, and it shows them proudly. More importantly, it seems to me to be in perfect structural condition, with no sign of there having been a neck re-set or of it having suffered any serious damage. And, even more importantly, it plays and sounds beautiful. Although I keep most of my top-end guitars in their cases, this sits on a stand near to my seat so that I can pick it up whenever I feel the need to make some music. And it never lets me down. The one thing that seems to be non-original is the bridge. You can see from the photos that it says it has an adjustable bridge, but you can see from other photos that it does not. Having looked through various Gibson forums it seems that the adjustable bridges were not popular, and many players replaced them with a fixed bridge, which produced a far better, more stable sound. This would appear to have happened in this case. The hard case works. I don’t know anything about s Gibson cases. I find it hard to believe that this is an original Gibson case – there is no logo that I can see, and the quality seems a bit low – but it may be. It’s certainly old. At any rate, it does the job of keeping the guitar safe from point A to point B. I’m happy to wrap it and its case in cardboard and post it out. About £40 p&p (uninsured) in the UK, or I can get a quote for insured or elsewhere (or you can handle that side yourself). And see my other ads!

Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty () trades/part x Gibson ' prs ' fender

Here I have my stunning Gibson lp custom black beauty made in . All original apart from the tuners but I still have the original tuners as seen in pic. No extra holes as the new tuners fit perfectly. T top pickups which sound bluesy but also rock out. Original case... these alone are going for £450 alone. The guitar itself is in really great condition for her age with no buckle rash or anything other than very minor light surface marks but for a 75 trust me it doesn't get better. Fret less wonder this guitar and a real shredder. Weigh's about pounds. Original pots' wiring ' t top pickups it just doesn't get better. I've not had this guitar very long but I've come to the realisation it's a tad to heavy for me personally especially gigging so I've decided with a heavy heart to part with it.Grab yourself a bit of history () lp black beauty!!!!
