Hi there. Here for sale is my gorgeous Gibson Flying V in Ebony with white scratch plate. As you know, the Gibson Flying V with it's iconic shape is a real beauty and a head tuner. I am very sad to be selling her as she is special to me being the first guitar I purchased once I became a professional session guitarist. (Selling various bits of gear currently due to needing to raise funds for an operation.) I take pride in how I look after all my guitars and gear, so you can be assured she has been treated with care. Being a session player I have used this guitar mainly for rehearsals and tv shows (She's never been toured, I use other guitars for touring.) She's played on The Jonathon Ross Show, MTV, and Graeme Norton Show, to name a few! Condition: The guitar - Generally fantastic for a vintage guitar (she is nearly 20 years old and many guitar collectors see the 20 year mark worthy of bing called 'vintage'). There is a small chip out of the paint work on the right 'leg' (see photos) I have always had gushing compliments about this guitar whenever I have used it because of the overall good condition. The case - Ragged round the edges on the outside and very worn condition, especially the handle (see photos) as is often the case with original Gibson Flying V cases. It is nearly 20 years old! The inside is plush however (see photos) and the case still does it's job perfectly of protecting the guitar. Bonus: 1- I will put brand new strings on her for you before collection. 2- Comes with 2 Schaller strap lock end pins fitted for use with a guitar strap with a strap lock on it. Gibson Flying V in faded cherry

Issued in and no longer available is this Flying V in Faded Cherry. When I bought this guitar I was concerned that the finish might make the neck a bit slow to play - not a bit of it and it's one of the most comfortable necks I've ever played! Very loud and punchy with Gibson's "490" pickups and a real rock guitar. My reason for sale is that I now have so many guitars I've got to shed those that I just don't play often, and sadly this has become one of them. It has only had “bedroom” use and probably way less than 50 hours playing time, so it really is a bargain. Comes with the original gig bag and both guitar and bag are in mint condition with the exception of a tiny dent on the top edge of the body which is hardly noticeable and I had a job trying to photograph it. It also has a nice set-up and action and plays beautifully. This is a beautiful All Maple Flying V. All original, no issues. Plays and sounds great. The pots date from late , which is not uncommon with older guitars and has Gibson PAF PU's. Guitar Dater web site has this guitar being made in May 8 of at the Kalamazoo Plant.

For sale is my Gibson Studio in the classic Ebony finish with gold hardware inc the classic Gibson USA Tan Case. Purchased this around 10 years ago off the original owner with the original receipt of sale dated to . He had only ever used it to learn on and I’ve only used it in the house hence its pretty much mint condition. There is slight tarnish on the gold hardware and a slight laquer mark on the rear of the guitar where the nitro has reacted to a stand prior to my purchase but its hard to see and does not affect the playability at all.
