Gibson Les Paul Studio (gold edition) with Gibson Hardcase

Hi there, For sale is a Gibson Les Paul Studio from , built in Nashville, USA. Superb example of a 20 year old Les Paul studio in stunning wine red finish. This is the gold edition which features gold hardware rather than the more common chrome. Overall, the guitar is in fantastic condition for its age with one or two minor dings as shown in the pictures - these are to the rear and near bottom side at the strap button, both are not visible when playing the guitar. Built quality on this is second to none. Made in an era when Gibson took more care about things and this is reflected when compared to the newer versions. These are very desirable examples. Typical Gibson construction: Solid one piece mahogany body with carved maple top and set mahogany neck. As I said before, this is old school Gibson quality so there's None of this modern 'weight relief' garbage - the thing weighs an absolute ton and offers great sustain. The 22 fret mahogany set neck has a lovely rosewood fret board with pearloid inlays as standard on LP's. Frets are nice and level with many years of playing left in them - there no need for any re-fretting any time soon! Pickups are the Gibson hot ceramic set - 496R in the neck, 498T in the bridge. They give much more bite than vintage PAF's or modern Burstbuckers but are versatile for all playing styles. I'd say it's a solid 8/10, especially for its age with no excessive damage. The headstock cap is pristine and not cracked/weathered like is common with LP's as time go's on. Hardware has light tarnishing as to be expected. Original black pickguard is included. Comes with a genuine Gibson custom shop case with purple velvet interior included, these are circa £180 alone. Prices to sell. You'll struggle to get one of these with a case for any less than £600 and modern Studio's of lesser quality are around £900 in stores. Hi Up for sale is my Gibson firebird, this guitar has been upgraded with a 50s wiring harness using cts pots and pio caps and I have had a set of the creamery alnico 5 firebird minis installed, these upgrades have really opened the tone up on this guitar to its full potential and have made an apparent jump in quality from the stock electronics. other than that she's all stock and plays like a dream. Gibson Firebird Swap/Trade

Gibson Firebird with Mojo pickups fitted. I believe but the serial number is hard to read with all the paint over it. Some discolouration of the white finish, one or two laquer cracks and tarnished pickup covers which only adds to the vibe of this guitar. Has had replacement tuners fitted at some point but now has the proper Steinberger ones. All works, great sound and easy to play but just not for me. OHSC included. This Gibson Firebird has a a full professional refurb and some damage to the back which had been poorly fixed has been restored to almost perfect. (slightly noticeable in a small part of the finish on the back) All parts an bindings are original except the replaced headstock binding and bone top nut. Hardware removed, Back and binding removed, Back and struts repaired, Linings repaired/replaced. Back re-fitted, Binding re-fitted, Visible damage/old repair sanded back and veneer fitted. Partial re-spray to back. (Colour matched) Missing headstock binding replaced. Binding colour matched, Logo and headstock emblem masked, Headstock re-sprayed, Hardware re-fitted, New bone top nut made and fitted, Fret Dressed, Re-strung, Action and truss rod adjusted It was made on 29th June at the Bozeman Plant, MT, USA.
