Vintage Gibson bass for sale. Up for grabs is my much loved EB-3 bass. This thing is an absolute beauty oozing 70's Gibson vibe. All original parts, no hardcase I'm afraid but I do have an epiphone soft case that fits due to the short scale, which has worked perfectly fine for me. This bass plays great, I've just had it setup with new strings so it's in tip top condition. There's a few dings here and there but for a bass of it's age it is in surprisingly very good condition. The walnut body and finish look great, I've tried to capture this in the photos but they don't do it justice. Anyone who knows about these basses know that the tonal options are vast due to the wiring and combination of pickups. Combined with the short scale neck means playing this bass is simply a dream. The only reason I'm selling this is because my collection is too large and I'm moving house soon. Some stuff has to go and unfortunately this was it. A very hard decision to make. Used Black Epiphone EB-3 Bass Guitar. Few marks here and there and a small string ding on the bridge pick up (do not know how or when it got there), pick -up still functions normally. Added a photo of it so you can see it for yourself. As you'd expect the scratchplate and body are lightly scratched from playing over the last year and a half. Just gave the fretboard a good deep clean and gave the whole guitar a good polish. Gibson Les Paul Studio (gold edition) with Gibson Hardcase

Hi there, For sale is a Gibson Les Paul Studio from , built in Nashville, USA. Superb example of a 20 year old Les Paul studio in stunning wine red finish. This is the gold edition which features gold hardware rather than the more common chrome. Overall, the guitar is in fantastic condition for its age with one or two minor dings as shown in the pictures - these are to the rear and near bottom side at the strap button, both are not visible when playing the guitar. Built quality on this is second to none. Made in an era when Gibson took more care about things and this is reflected when compared to the newer versions. These are very desirable examples. Typical Gibson construction: Solid one piece mahogany body with carved maple top and set mahogany neck. As I said before, this is old school Gibson quality so there's None of this modern 'weight relief' garbage - the thing weighs an absolute ton and offers great sustain. The 22 fret mahogany set neck has a lovely rosewood fret board with pearloid inlays as standard on LP's. Frets are nice and level with many years of playing left in them - there no need for any re-fretting any time soon! Pickups are the Gibson hot ceramic set - 496R in the neck, 498T in the bridge. They give much more bite than vintage PAF's or modern Burstbuckers but are versatile for all playing styles. I'd say it's a solid 8/10, especially for its age with no excessive damage. The headstock cap is pristine and not cracked/weathered like is common with LP's as time go's on. Hardware has light tarnishing as to be expected. Original black pickguard is included. Comes with a genuine Gibson custom shop case with purple velvet interior included, these are circa £180 alone. Prices to sell. You'll struggle to get one of these with a case for any less than £600 and modern Studio's of lesser quality are around £900 in stores. I'm open to offers or part ex plus cash my way, let me know what you've got to offer. I'd be interested in Ibanez RG's/Iron label's and Fenders - USA only or anything Jim Root Fender.
